What are these for? One was in my hacks folder and I didn't even put it there.
Schweiz oder etwas [12:55] (Dr_Death16); I swear, the word drama needs to be stricken from the dictionary, for I've heard it so many times, it will permanently be imprinted on my brain Since: 11-17-05 From: Kingston, Rhode Island Last post: 6430 days Last view: 6430 days |

They're save data files. For the most part.
And this belongs in General Emulation, I'd say. |

DAT can be almost anything. Kazaa uses them for incomplete downloads, MegaManX5 PC has it's movies (possibly music too - try Windows Media Player) disguised as such, etc.
I wouldn't delete any unless you know for sure what the file in question does. |

A file name (*.DAT isn't enough) and possibly anything suspicious in a hex editor would be nice to know, too...

^ It's hard to remember when you never heard about it
Also I think MS stores thumbnails in Win Explorer in some file that ends with .dat |

.DAT(a), like .BIN(ary), is just a general data file that could be anything. Deleting it shouldn't hurt anything, but unless you really need the space, just keep it.
Also what's the file's name? |

I would scream 'DUH!' because people should read the README THAT COMES WITH ZSNES but I'll do this one better and close this. [closed] |
