The overworld on the third screenshot pretty much looks almost the same as the original, except for the water is red and some stuff were moved around.

Also, why is Mario standing in midair above the lava in the 4th screenshot?

A few comments:

1) Why did you assume that FuSoYa removed the Ctrl+Del thing from Lunar Magic 1.63?
2) The status bar looked good. During the Bowser battle.
3) You should have added "PROOF READING: leogman" to the credits.
4) Midway point in Bowser's Tower = Useful item of the year.
5) Please lower the time limit in Bowser's Tower. It's too easy. (I mean. I had 3 seconds left when I reached Bowser. 3! Geez! Be greedy in the future!)

OMFG! *craps pants of excitment* okay seriously though you show some potential as a good hacker, but you need to work on yer spealing, and improve a bit on your overworld, otherwise you have some good level design, it just needs perfection.

Hm... from the screenshots, the hack looks okay. Nothing much that is really interesting about it, however. Nice work.

Oh come on, just because I'm off on holidays doesn't mean you can start sinking the boot in with a comparison to THIS guy!

Downloading, will post thoughts soon.

EDIT: OK, here we go...

OK, I wrote this while playing. If it seems incoherant or otherwise overly unfair, blame the sea breeze, that third vodka cruiser, or my continued possession and usage of my soul.

Yoshi's House:
Unchanged.

Dangerous Island 1:
Cutting it a bit thin with the time limit. I HATE Muncher mazes, especially since you die if you touch the side of one. Some opportunities to get helplessly stuck, and at least one Leap of Faith (a big no-no in my book). Not the best of starts...

Red Switch Palace:
...what? I think this is mainly unchanged.

Dangerous Island 2:
Underdetailed, and with little thought as to the general design. Throw in a bastardly P-Switch art edit, and a fall of faith straight onto a angry yellow shell, and there's no way of sugar coating it: this level sucks.

Dangerous Island 3:
Oh joy, a Wario Land tileset! Oh joy, more poor level design, including another pet hate of mine, which surprisingly is also a Legoman trademark: Single-block jumping puzzles! Oh joy, Legoman hasn't had his computer engulfed in Satan's firey flames yet!

Dangerous Island 4:
The first half of the level closely resembles the original in places, and has completely innappropriate music. There's very few nice things that can be said about the second half, so I won't even try.

Dangerous Castle (NOTICE A THEME HERE?):
The first part was mediocre, and could do with a brush up, but felt more fun than the last few levels. The second part was... well... boring.

Bowser Island 1:
Boring edit of an old level. Inexplicable switch palace at the end.

Bowser Island 2:
Everything wrong with Layer 2 in three parts.

Bowser Goust House! (oh legoman):
Almost THE EXACT SAME as a SMW level.

Bowser Island 3:
Hello level! I remember you! And I liked you more when I played you, what, five years ago?

Very DANREROUS Cave (oh legoman!):
I WANT TO DESTROY YOUR SOUL LEGOMAN

Bowser Tower:
Demo World TLC's Boo Tower's retarded half cousin. I'm convinced floor nine is impossible. That and I just got Tekken 5 and would rather play that instead.

In short, this hack blows and I am further offended by Poring's analogy to my hack. Hey, at least mine was FUN, ya big bully

Although, to be fair, I didn't see any Wirtual Man-esque Note Block nightmares, so either Legoman's learning or he put them later on in Bowser Tower, and I just... didn't... care.

DANGEROUS MARIO LAND.

Watch out, this thread just went into total serious business lockdown. I'll download it and try, however...

1.) I can't hack worth a damn ( In my opinion, you shouldn't need to hack to make a good SMW ROM ), so I won't be giving any opinions on that subject.

2.) Fancy tiles and 'nice rips' do not make up a game, this will all be useless if your ROM isn't even fun to play.

All in all, I will try it. I just hope it's fun.

And yes, it's true. I don't have a SMW ROM of any kind out yet, but I plan to eventually.

2 b edited when i play de game lol.
-BRB-

RETURNED...

Stage 1 : "dangerous island 1":

Okay... This level should've been simply named "RANDOM". Not only was there floating mask things ( They didn't do anything, but still looked ridiculous. ), there was randomly shot-out-of-nowhere big Banzai Bill's, floating vines, and ... skydiving. This is one thing I really hate, you could've used coins or something to help guide the player to a piece of land, instead; I was left jumpg off cliffs and hoping to land on something enjoyable. This level gets a goodness-gracious 2/10.

Stage 2 : "Red Switch Palace":

Pitfall, anyone? This was a repetitive level of jumping across monsters onto used-coin blocks. 0/10 for not even -trying- to make a good Red Switch Palace.

Stage 3 : "dangerous island 2":

This was less annoying, but not really more enjoyable. The level was pretty short as well. 3/10

Stage 4 : "dangerous island 3":

Brilliant. Floating blocks over a gigantic hole where you must jump and jump carefully to make your way across. It must've been really hard to set up an ingenious concept like this. 1/10

Stage 5 :"dangerous island 4":

From snow to mushrooms. This is truly strange. All in all, this level gets a small prop for not being as much of a flop as the ones so far have been. Because I personally like icey levels, 4/10. This level is at a loss because of one major thing though.... Too easy.

Stage 6 : "dangerous catsle":

The dangerous CATSLE was actually too easy, but it was a breath of fresh air because it looked like you actually may have put some thought into this one. I don't mean to sound racist or anything, but the ending message really sounds asian-like. "You done chapter one! Now you find Princess! Save World! Luck Mario Good!" heh. I'll stop there before I get into trouble.

Stage 7 : "bowser island 1"

Well done, you've officially made me disgusted at the fact that you took an actual SMW level, and disguised it with your ignorance. 0/10

Stage 8 : "bowser island 2"

Somehow I managed to forget to put this one in the edit, I forgot about this level..somehow. Though the last thing I want to do is replay a level on this ROM, so... no rating.

Stage 9 : "bowser ghost house"

......... Thats all I can say here is "..." 1/10

Stage 10 : "very DANREROUS CAVE"

Very Danrerous indeed, this level was so tedious and frustrating that I quit playing the ROM altogethere here. Too hard? If you want me to admit it, sure. But it's mainly because the level was put together so poorly it was just sickening. You've ruined my love for ice levels, thanks alot. -10/10

Over-all rating: -2/10

Though I don't mean to sound like an asshole here, I will say that this ROM sucked. If it was your first try, good job on the hacks and all, but try to take more time with a level. It's good to have a ROM that's hard, but you have to make it fun as well. Throw in some "puzzles" so to speak, and you should do fine next time.

I can't believe that the status bar hasn't been mentioned yet. It's screwed up at the left and right side. I don't like this hack either. Not only is it poorly made, it's not even made with love. I think you just rushed over the levels and voila, hack á la crap is done.
