I got to like level 77 in SS, but I got bored of hammering enemies and quit. That and, I missed out on several one-chance items.
Spoiler: Not really much point getting level 100. I got to the end of the game at level 25~, which is kind of sad really... I finished superstar saga at level 45ish I think...In PiT, I'm level 50ish and I crush everything. I can kill the shroob princesses in one hit (three for the 2nd form of Elder). Oh great... Um, Ansem, please do something about your quote.
Anyway, with my Ulti-Free badge, I can nuke any monster I come in contact with via infinite mix flowers. Doesn't really matter, though, since I can kill a Tashrooba in two or three hits. |

Since I don't like to spoil things.
Spoiler: Now that I found Fawful and bought the Ulti-Free badge, maybe I should go back and refight the last bosses again and see if it doesn't take as long as the first time. I almost ran out of Mix Flowers the first time. |

Worst? Not when you do 400 damage per turn to everyone even if they have spikes.

I really don't know why EVERYBODY likes the ulti-free badge like there's no comparison.
Treasure badge Dynamic badge A (best badge in the game IMO) Lucky badge A Item-fan Badge Stomp Badge Dire-POW badge (This especially) They all do loads more for me then the ulti-free badge would (edited by Tatrion on 01-03-06 09:49 PM) |

About the end credits:
Spoiler: Those pictures of the scenes are awesome! It looks like something from a 3D movie or something. Too bad they didn't show a picture of Sunnycide. |

Hmm. Does anyone know if it's possible to get more than one Dynamic Badge A? Using the Dynamic Badge with the Item-Fan badge seems unbalanced for the guy using the Item-fan.
Also, your HP gets refreshed in the final battle, making the Dire-POW badge worthless there. Blargag. I couldn't have ever gotten a full compliment of 100-point pants and Supreme slacks without that treasure badge.... And yes, the end credits were neat. Unexpected/10 |

I don't remember anything like that in the ending credits
And yeah, I never wanted any really good stuff. It just seemed like a waste of time. I mean why bother? The game wasn't so good I felt like I needed everything or anything =/ Edit: Oh no you don't Originally posted by BioHe deleted it. My response, though... The pictures were like actual art of events in the game, not just sprites. I think they're drawn pretty well, they add a lot of fine detail to them.

Originally posted by Tatrion Hahaha, that badge is great. I have four Supreme Slacks now. It's actually pretty easy. Same with the 100-point pants. And to those who haven't gotten these items yet... Spoiler: You can get Supreme Slacks by using the treasure badge and having the one equipped with the badge use a Bros. item on Shroob Intern. And, yes, Shroob Intern, not Shroobworth as the guides state. |

I just got this game for Christmas.Whenever I play through one of these games for the first time, I try to run away from all the enemies. The result? I got to the part in the game where you are in the star place and you use the touchscreen for the first time in the game and then you fight the red guy
and he killed me easily, due to my low level. So I had to delete my file and start over! It was sad ____________________________________________________________________ I don't know how to make a spoiler thingy __________________________________ Apples grow on pear trees. |

I finally got this game.
I hate how hard it gets later if you don't go level a lot (20 20 21 20, top-to-bottom from save screen)... Already most things will annoy/kill you, and 'chain damage'* is a real bitch... But for now, ...never mind. I'm getting sick of this game already. Managing to kill one 'normal' enemy only to have it revived (and then, kill me) is not fun. I'm beginning to hate the difficulty curve of this game. It's out of control. *when an enemy attacks you, making you unable to dodge its next attack segment, basically forcing you to take all successive damage with no chance of countering/dodging (edited by Xkeeper on 01-09-06 03:13 AM) |
