Back in my DBZ days (shudders), I do recall this english patch for DB Gokuden, aka the only game based on Dragon Ball. The text was translated wonderfully, it stuck to the series, and I believe it covered the entire Dragonball series. However, it was extremely hard to find as I recall, and for some reason I could never knock the enemies health below 1 HP. Glitch or special attack requirement, I know not. But it's at least worth a shot, IMO.

This one?
Certainly doesn't look near complete to me. Regarding Star Ocean... I think the game's playable all the way through with the patch although I've never tried the game. I don't mind someone doing a rush job on a translation as long as it's just to make it playable, then going back and fixing everything up to make it look pretty. |

Originally posted by Colin No idea. Been about two years since I played it. Mind you, due to that problem I mentioned above, I could never get past Yamcha, so I just presumed the rest of the text was translated. (edited by Metal Knuckles on 12-26-05 11:33 PM) |

Dragon Ball translations usually don't get followed through to completion. :\ I have no idea why but I assume the hackers just lose interest in the games.

Originally posted by Koitenshin You know, I had this big long post typed out, but forget it. Im just going to simplify it down to this. "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is NO LESS an RPG as Final Fantasy VII. No Zelda game with the exception of Adventures of Link is an rpg, and that one barely qualifies. Trust me on this." |

Samurai Showdown RPG. It's like Samurai Showdown and a RPG had a illegitimate lovechild called Samurai Showdown RPG.

I missed this because it was in an edit but...
Originally posted by SuperKawaiiNeko That's ZSNES's fault in terms of compatibility; it still has this problem with this game. I've only really found three ways of fixing it: Either disable SPC emulation entirely (which I'm hearing is the major problem in ZSNES running it), run it with SPC emulation and when it dies you can rewind back to when it's not dying...sometimes it will fix itself...and you can use SNES9x which has beautiful compatibility in that regard and plays it flawlessly. Besides running SMVs and that game it's the only reason I use it though. |

No one has also mentioned Thousand Arms. That was a great RPG. A little different and difficult I loved it.

Originally posted by Zubatron I second this. Hey, I got Rhapsody and Persona 2 today (finally), and suggest both. |

I can tell you are new here with the ALL CAPS and whatnot. But those games are not rpg's in the traditional sense.
