The problem is not in Sappy, or in the controls it uses. I have only one thing to say to you and every other user who gets that error. Purists and *nix users will hate me for this but...
Get a real operating system. |

Novox tagged out Pokémon Fire Red, Leaf Green and Emerald. Paste this inbetween the last </rom> and the final </sappy> tags.

Hi Kyoufu Kawa. (^^
I received your mail about Japanese translation of Sappy 2005. So I installed it and ran sappy.exe, but... it show error dialog. >runtime error '6': >overflow -- btw, Japanese is multibyte characters. If you add Japanese translation resource in String Table, I think the gui fonts will be garbled. regards, Kpan (sorry for my broken English) |

Welcome, welcome.
When exactly did this happen? Right at startup or...? If you have AIM or MSN, we can discuss this in realtime. Makes it easier. And I am fully aware of Japanese being multibyte and have code for DBCS support. (AIM: TheFurryEvil / MSN: pikac14@hotmail.com) |

Forgot to suggest that perhaps one file per 4-byte ROM code (same way GBA2MIDI does it). Though it's probably too late for that.
Other than that, I think you have this well under control. [+] Also, manual input option would be nice for the song table thing. [+] Lowercase font doesn't show up on about scroller (at least on Japanese Windows). [+] Crashes quite a bit on Japanese Windows, but might be fixed when all string stored data is converted to byte arrays. Manual input
Very doable. Byte arrays Your code doesn't allow! |

You can probably forget Japanese support then . Unless you're willing to let me take a look at it and see what I can do. But I'm sure that if I can do it that you can do it just as well .

Hello. I would like to report a problem of sorts with exporting tracks. When I select where I want to save the tracks (C: for example and to make things easier), I get the runtime error 75 or 76: Path/File access error or Path not found. It does not matter where I point Sappy to save its tracks, it doesn't save and gives one of those runtime errors.
Can you help me find a solution, please? Thank you, ~Supakitsune EDIT: Gah! I always forget. I'm using Windows XP Home, SP1. (edited by Maple on 01-01-06 06:57 PM) |

I have Japanese Windows XP and I get runtime error 339 when I try to open it. (It installed without problems.)
What are "vbalIml6.ocx" and its dependencies? They are not correctly registered. Evidently. (And if I do get this running, and Kpan can't, I'd be happy to help with a Japanese translation.) |

On Japanese XP even if you do get it working the samples will still sound like garbage due to a way I coded things before I gave the project to Kawa
