Originally posted by The Red Snifit Either Missingno. or M-Block (the one with glitchy things in the name). Missingno. had levels over 100 I believe, and M-Block was like 0. I think they also evolved into a Kangaskhan that had the cry of a Nidoking, or something... In Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, I found the Chao glitch where if you set an animal down by a Chao, it would use it. Then, unusually, the animal could be used infinite times this way. Later I found it on the internets, and my pride deflated. |

I'm pretty sure there's a spark enemy inside there, so you die anyway. |

I discovered the glitch in Mario Kart 64 where you can jump over the wall and the beginning of Wario's stadium. Someone else figured out how to jump back...
I *think* l also figured out the Forest of Illusions glitch in SMW where you can max you your points by jumping off the wigglers...someone may have gotten to it before me though... |

Huh. There's usually one in there, though.
Mabye it was just an odd bug? |

Originally posted by LakithunderOriginally posted by The Red Snifit I remember that it only uses water gun but you MUST not have it in your box or it will eliminate all your pokemon if you have it in your party keep it in there for awhile and it will brick your game (brick meaning turning it into just a plastic thing with useless memory). Edit: also the Missingno is also short for Missing Number if you have all the pokemon rumor has it that it will turn into mew if you defeat the elite four again. But one surefire thing is that it is used in the duplication glitch me and my bud found out and were heartbroken when we saw others found it out. Talk to the old man who had his coffee and go through the catching tutorial then fly to cinnibar island and try to find the missingno not M & M just missingno when you do one of the items in your inv. will be duped to like 999 I think I recall. Then switch that item with the item you want to dupe and repeat the process thats how I got my rarecandy haxor pwnage pwer! In Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast at the Casino where you ring dash the rings to hit the button keep doing that and spin your control stick repeatedly in mid ring dash and you should go through the casino and be stuck in blue for awhile and then die. In Super Mario Sunshine when Shadow Mario Floods Delfino Plaza there will be some of those jumpy wooden woven roofs I think somewhere near the fruit stand that if you try to slide on em you will get knocked down and go through the water like it was air and then the ground and then die it was really rare since it only worked for me 2 times out of 10 tries. In the Simpsons Hit & Run when you use the jumping cheat start jumping like mad in the 7th level with the zombies and you will eventually go off board and start driving on background only. to return to your position press the control pad for gamecube and whatever button restarts your car on the road for the others. These are true since they have occurred to me and if it doesn't work for you then my gamecube must be wacked or somethin. (edited by Uki-Ki-rby on 02-08-07 09:06 PM) |

In Super Metroid, I was able to dodge the metroid in Tourian and get to the next room without getting eaten. And then Samus started to move slowly, horizontally. I remember posting it on GameFAQs about four years ago.

I recall that game boy that was fun to mess with I always started messing with its scrolling capabilities to make some enemies dissappear... The problem is it has been such a long time since then I forgot what specific thing did that.... |

There's a easter egg in Kirbys adventure for NES that involves getting to a hidden part of a level by making a star to disappear through messing with the scrolling.
Kinda neat to try it once. |

I've literally found over 20+ glitches in the Donkey Kong Country series (both SNES and GBA combined), too many to list. I will, however, make videos of them in do time. Most of the glitches, the public doesn't yet know about.

Timesplitters Future Perfect - Mapmaker Glitch
If you create a level with a ramp flush against the stackable 3x3 tile and make a 1x1 wall leading into it, there will be a freaking hole at the end that'll instantly kill you. Castlevania Lament of Innocence - Item Duplication In the first area of the Inverted Dungeon you enter (The place where the 5 orbs are supposed to be placed) has an odd area just outside the save room. Go to the corridor where the save room is. You'll notice a rug with green light hitting it. Walk to the center of the design pattern, face the curtains, walk a bit to the trim of the rug and scroll through the items in the real-time viewer. As you scroll up and down, items will be duplicated like crazy. |

Corrupted SRAM might be able to knock the game into not working (without clearing it)... That, and I've heard reports of Ocarina fo Time carts not working after using a Gameshark too much |

I've found blue (Yes. Blue.) bananas in Donkey Kong Country. It happened in "Stop N Go Station" and I've never been able to reproduce it.
A line of bananas were simply blue. That's it. Nothing special about them. The rest of the bananas in the level was yellow, though. If I recall correctly, making the blue bananas scroll off-screen and then returning turned them back into yellow bananas. Years later, after looking into how DKC handles graphics, I believe that I've got an explanation. The palettes and graphics of DKC are dynamic, meaning that only on-screen sprites are loaded into VRAM. The same goes for palettes. Somehow, the palette must have been full, leaving no room for the banana palette to be loaded into. Therefore, the bananas had to use one of the loaded palettes, which happened to be blue. In the CoO at ordeal number I don't care anymore there are two towers. I tried this a few times becaue it was weird. It happened each time. After killing the archers and the other bastards in the level I destroyed the tower on the west side of the room. I then attacked the right tower. Normally it only takes one swing of the Ball and Chain. It took at least 5 swings for it to do anything. Then it exploded and knocked me back without taking any damage. I'unno. It was really weird and seemed glitchy.
Small Hacker, I've seen it too. |

Hm, there was some Star Wars game for the Gamecube (not sure which) and as usual my brother was playing it with cheat codes. He had some special weapon which I guess you're not supposed to have at that point, and fired it at this enemy ship during a boss battle (he was some guy inside a building shooting at a ship outside) and the ship just disappeared. Then it just played the victory cutscene, showing just a few pieces of the ship flying away.

Eh, I've had a lot of Pokémon R/B/Y carts just die for no apparent reason, even without hacking or glitching. Same with Super Mario Land carts which happen to use the same memory controller chip (MBC1). I suspect they just had defective MBC1 chips, and the Missingno glitch might have accelerated whatever triggered the defects. |

Okay, there's three glitches that I've found by myself.
Super Mario Brothers 3 Nes (E): On an actual NES, I was playing 1-3? And somehow the level load data must have screwed, because when I got to the line of 4 horizontal wood blocks in the air there, there was a Green Note Block on top of it. ; Never got to see what it did though. Advance Wars 2: If you get over a 100% defence bonus, getting hit by an attack will actually heal the unit. If you manage to get more than about 12.5HP, then the unit spontaneously dies. I haven't actually made this happen in-game without any hacking of stats however. Famicom Wars DS (AWDS (J)): Okay, this doesn't work in the US/E versions, and it requires some setup. Firstly, start a Versus match with like 2 players or whatever. Make sure that CO 2 is 'No CO' for every team. Now, save and go back to the main menu (To preserve the CO selections). Start a campaign map or War Room map where you're allowed to use both a tag team as well as force ranks. Choose both COs as whoever. Attach the Bodyguard/Teamwork/Synergy Forces to the back CO. Start the level. Go back to the main menu. Start a versus match, don't touch the second CO for Orange Star or whoever. Make the first CO whoever the hell you want. Start the match. You'll see that the OS CO will still have the skill effects, despite not having a tag partner of any description. |

Ah, that post reminded me of one. I noticed near the beginning of Super Mario RPG, when you're still at level 1, enemy attacks will randomly heal you. It acts just as if you were hurt (white numbers and all) but your HP ends up higher than it was before. (edited by HyperHacker on 02-10-07 12:44 AM) |
