I about creamed myself after seeing this. I loved Rondo very much, and well, this is just plain amazing. I was never even interested in a PSP before now: this gives me 1001 reasons to buy one. It's one of the most impressive things I've seen come from a Konami in a long time.

Plus they're tossing in a straight port of SotN too, which is worth the retail price no matter what.
(Unless you have a 360. Then wait for the Live Arcade port soon.) |

Rondo 3D, plus original Rondo, AND SotN.
Dear Christ. This is a killer app and a half. |

Well, for me the Wii pushed me back into gaming. Hardcore gaming at that. It is just so much fun and shit. Plus, this game makes me want PSP so bad.

Yeah, I saw this last night, too. Unless someone has never liked Castlevania or this game, there isn't really anything anyone could complain about. :p I'm definitely getting this. I don't really want to buy an X360, so Symphony of the Night on the go makes up for the one that's coming out for the X360.

while your at it get ultimate ghosts and goblins as well as megaman powered up, you can deisgn your own levels on megaman. Imagine if theya dded in such a feature here or another psp castlevna agame, where you could make levels for it. Oh and get rachet and clank and Daxter.

I was about to shake my fist in outrage until I realized that the original 2D version is included as well as the 3D revamp. Thank God, b/c the 3D version just doesn't look very CV to me. If you have time, look for gameplay videos of Rondo of Blood on youtube. I just might buy a PSP to play this. Assuming they don't port it to other systems, I probably will.

I thought it was the developers' job to decide what CV looked like. (edited by Zidane on 02-03-07 01:02 AM) (edited by Zidane on 02-03-07 01:03 AM) |

This is amazing I must say. As you all know according to my name, I love CV. Seeing this Rondo remake is just freakin sweet. 2.5d Oh hell yes. And Regular Rondo with Symphony. Holy shit I might just crap myself. This is worth buying a PSP for. I can't wait for this to come out. By the way Colin, the PSP Symphony is going to have improved localization while the 360 one is just a straight port. Konami did something smart by giving the SONY product better everything. Belmont: It's debatable whether "improved localization" is better, and furthermore, I'm not quite sure I see your point as to why it's smart to "give the SONY product better everything". What are you trying to say here?
Zidane: Of course it is. And if they change what CV looks like certainly people are going to notice and react, either negative or positive. |

The Ghosts and Goblins on PSP blew goat chunks. It just didn't feel right. I just couldn't get into it like it was an original. Contra: SS brought me in. But not that. Hell, even MMU! made me feel like I was a kid playing the game again. Hardcore good shit.

What's "improved localization", though? Sounds to me like a few text changes here and there and maybe some tweaks.
The original is still <3. |

psp just has so many amazing games, not as good as ps2 but still great. metal gear, loco roco, megamans, exit, wipeout, daxter, tokobots, socom 2, killzone, rachet and clank, and now castlevania, very impressive for just a handheld.
