Though it's quite loose in the definition of MMORPG. The only way it's multiplayer is the scoreboards. It's online, for sure. Role-playing? There's forums. A game? It just barely ranks in.
What sort of MMORPG can this be? One that requires you to do nothing at all. It's the true beauty of Progress Quest. |

Angband with the Borg player beats this any day.
A long time ago I had Progress Quest, until one day something screwed up with it and I couldn't restore my character.. so I just deleted the game and never went back. |

This is so... 2003 or 2004? I forget which.
I could never catch up to everyone though. |

Graal is still older than this, but Progress Quest has been running for nearly 5 years now
I still have my character (ranked pretty high too), but I've forgotten about it for a long time now ... if I ever care one day, I could just start it again and catch up in "turbo mode" |

I've never heard of this. It's genious. Gaming without interaction... it's sort of like television, lol. | |||

You need to know how to click the mouse.
(Then again, with PQ you need to know that as well to open the "game".) |
