Nothing special for me:

Mon, Wed, Fri:
10:00 AM - 10:50 -- World Humanities. Boring, but I need the credit.
11:00 AM - 11:50 -- Intermediate Algebra (I took Trig and everything at High School, but I really didn't put any effort into the math placement test. That obviously came back to hit me in the ass. )
12:00 AM - 12:50 -- English 101 / Comp 1, whatever. I've heard some bad things about this class, but when our teacher said "Yeah, all essay's will be about a page to a page and a half long" I almost fell out of my chair. That just seems ... pathetic? Sounds really easy, then again maybe she's a tough grader or something.

Tue, Thur:
6:00 PM - 8:45 -- Character Animation (we use Maya). I'll probably drop this ... think I finally decided Game Design isn't completely for me. I took Game Design / Level Design for two years in High School, but yeah. I just don't have the drawing skills and patience for this to be a career for myself.

Johnson County Community College.

Boring as hell. Didn't meet a single soul last semester. I guess that can go for most Community Colleges?

I'd favor a University, but I'm having to pay for 90% of college myself right now. I just figured I'd go to JCCC for 2 years or so and get all the basics out of the way, then head to a University (possibly KU) or tech school of some kind.

I'm looking at KU for grad school when it comes to be that time...

I'm getting my tuition payed for at UNL because my parents are poor and we qualified for grants and stuff, did you do the FAFSA??? I'm sure you could get some good money there.

Yeah, funny thing is my mom's going back to school herself (JCCC also), and we both applied for Aid (though she has to keep like a 4.0 GPA).

I'm probably in the same boat as you, both my parents never finished High School, or College in their early years ... so yeah, money isn't falling out of their pockets or anything.

That's honestly kind of kept me going and determined though. I just want to be far more providing and better off when I start my own family and whatnot, compared to what I've grown up with.

Monday/Wednesday

7:30AM - 8:30AM - MATH 1A - Calculus, First Course (my teacher has the perfect voice to put you to sleep, which isn't what I need at this hour)
9:00AM - 10:30AM - CHEM4B - General Chemistry with Quantitative Analysis (what was I thinking)
Tuesday/Thursday

7:30AM - 9:00AM - MATH 1A - Calculus
9:00AM - 12:00PM - ART 31A - Beginning Ceramics (a class which should keep me sane)
12:00PM - 3:00PM - CHEM4B - Chemistry lab

I am less than pleased with my Tuesday/Thursday schedule. Originally I also had a programming class on M/W from 10:30AM-1:00PM, but not enough people signed up, so they had to axe the course. I'm taking it online now. Teaching myself C++ can only lead to good things!

We have a flexible schedule.

It changes all the time. xD Only thing consistent for this semester is that we pretty much have 1 lab per week, starting next week.

...WTF? You end classes at the 18 minute mark?!? I can understand that in high school but not at university level... it just seems confusing.
