| I've recently come across the XNA Game Studio which was released by microsoft sometime before christmas. By it self it is not a game studio, but rather an extension to Visual C# 2005 exp Think of it as .NET for the XBox 360
What I come here to ask is for people who can meet the following criteria, and are interested in helping me research this new fangled dev pack. The criteria are this: - Own an Xbox 360 and have it hooked to a LAN (No need for Live, just so long as it's on a LAN connected to your computer workstation). - Have Microsoft Visual C# 2005 exp - Have a DVD-R drive capable of burning DVD-R's. If you have those, and want to assist me in doing this project, please let me know via E-mail, PM, or if you can find me on IRC, in #rohmacking. Please note this really isn't a game developing project. I ask for assistance because I do not own an Xbox 360 myself, or I would be doing it on my own
Basically, your job would be to paste code I send via TXT or IRC or MSN or whichever protocol you're familiar with into C#, and compile it so it will play on your Xbox 360 console, noting any errors/successes the code will give you. Of course, those who volunteer may be privy to certain aspects of future endeavors with my own company, Consoledev Games, like beta testing and pre-release editions of games. So, hope to hear from someone! ![]() |
