well, it looks like Detroit isn't unbeatable.... since they just lost 3 straight I think....
yeah, Vancouver then Calgary, then Edmonton. Seems like they can't beat the Canadian teams oh, and Calgary has won 8 straight! to that. |

St. Louis is dead in the water anyways. They're one of the teams I'd put a lot of money on against them reaching the playoffs.
And as for Montreal... I don't know how we keep doing it. I really don't. |

What happened in the Cowboys vs Eagles, I mean come on they were doing so well then it all slipped away. Aren't they hosting at their game vs Detroit this Sunday?

Montreal is currently getting beat by Washington pretty badly (5 minutes left, 5-1)
Montreal is playing like well..... they aren't playing. They're missing so much opportunities it's not even funny. (edited by DarkSlaya on 11-19-05 09:24 PM) |

Jiri Fischer of the Wings had a seizure on the bench last night, postponing their game against the Predators.
Our thoughts our with Jiri, the Fischer Family, the NHL, the NHLPA, and the Detroit Red Wings in this time of need. The game will be replayed in it's entirety, but no rescheduled date has been announced. (edited by Luigi-Santa on 11-22-05 10:16 AM) |

I don't know what caused it but he's going to be fine. His heart had stopped and they revived him. He's doing better.

I heard Jiri Fischer has been barred from any physical activity for 4 months. 4! The Wings can't put together a successful win streak without him at this point as he's one of the core younger players on that vastly aging roster. Without him, they're just too old to contend.
But that's okay because I hate Detroit, anyways (always have, always will). On a side-note, I did manage to go to the Canes game against the Leafs in Raleigh last night... oh, I can't believe the ref almost counted that last Toronto goal that went in when he blew the whistle. I so would've been pissed. <_> It was all fun in the game, though. I can be one of the arguable few that said the first Canes home game I've been to all season ended in a shootout, but most importantly, we won. YAY! |

Andrei Markov got suspended for 3 matches.
Ottawa beats Montreal 4-0. 2 matches left 'til Markov is back. |

Joe Thornton traded to the San Jose Sharks.
My dad, who's a Bruins fan, has been walking around for the last hour in a mix of sadness and rage against the organization. As are most fans. |

Montreal has some problems again.
Their game against Buffalo is going to be harder, since Koivu won't play. So yeah, 3 of the best players of the team are out (Markov, Kovalev, Koivu). |

Originally posted by Colin Three for 1 trade... not sure what to think as a sharks fan. The departure of sturm and primeau I could deal with their departures but Stuart wasn't a person I didn't want dealt. Although, I'm not sure who is left on defense for the Sharks outside of Hannan. We'll see whether this makes things better for both clubs or makes things worse. |

I didn't like the idea of trading Thornton.
However, Boston is currently beating Ottawa 3-0, Sturm also got a goal. Edit: Montreal lost 3-2 in OT. Ottawa got owned by Boston 3-0. (edited by DarkSlaya on 12-01-05 09:57 PM) (edited by DarkSlaya on 12-01-05 09:58 PM) |

sometimes just a change of scenery is what players need to become better
it's possible that each team will benefit... although... I'd probably want Thornton over the other guys |
