I know this was dealed with before, but almost a year ago I think. I'm curious as to whats causing this, and how I can go about fixing it. Any help is appreciated. EDIT: smaller picture (edited by Ragenule on 12-12-06 08:33 PM) |

Could you maybe be a little more specific about what exactly the problem(s) are and what you've done that may have caused them, and perhaps use a smaller screenshot?

Ah, sorry about that, I'll get a better picture.
Before this appeared, I had just modified the gfx file that contains the title screen tiles..but I can't see any tile that looks similar to the corner shading tiles. |

Try using ZSNES. It's more reliable, and sometimes, you'll see glitches in one emulator that you won't in another. One last thing- Bad things will happen if you try to play a hack that has a patch of the same name, but the hack itself has been modified past that of the patch... Like if you modified level GFX, it'll glitch in ZSNES unless you rename either the patch or the hack itself, move the patch or hack to seperate folders, or just get rid of the patch. Meh. Seriously, at least try ZSNES. It should work.

Same thing happens in ZSNES, and I've tried removing the srm that snes9x makes, but no luck. I also don't have any patch that has the same name in the said folder.

You say you were editing the title screen graphics? Yeah, the overworld borders are in there with the title letters. It looks like you changed the seventh tile of the sixth row. (YY-Chr says "Bank : 56" if you put your mouse over it)

So I'm guessing I'm just going to have to rebuild the title screen gfx and then find a new position for my custom title gfx? Seems simple enough.
EDIT: Yeah, that fixed it. thanks for the help guys. (edited by Ragenule on 12-12-06 09:23 PM) |

It's probably just that one tile that needs to be moved somewhere else, unless you're getting graphical glitches elsewhere. |
