And the BCS picture gets shattered again...
I think OSU will end up playing Florida, as most pollsters will vote to avoid the rematch (assuming Florida wins). But we'll have to wait and see. |

I'm thinkin' rematch. Let's go Mich.
Also, Wake Forest is going to Miami. Not a pretty game, but it's still a win. There are oranges all over campus; it's crazy. |

Plus, rematches often do not live up to the first match, and I don't want to see a lopsided title game.Originally posted by Teddylot Edit: This is what I get for multitasking, bad typo. Craig Krenzel was born in Michigan. That didn't stop him from seeing the light and winning a national championship here.
As for a Michigan win... maybe. But you have to remember that Arizona is the Buckeyes' second home. I mean, we've been there 4 out of the past 5 years. And us not giving you the ball twice on bad snaps would negate any lost home field advantage. |

It would probably be a hell of a game as well if the first meeting was any indication. More appealing for me than a Florida/USC game.
Rutgers is in position to make it to the Orange Bowl too. |

OSU vs. Michigan rematch for national title is now probable... |

Rutgers got screwed. Plain and simple.
I don't know HOW they didn't review that play when the runner CLEARLY fumbled the ball, because that would've given Rutgers the win. But then a receiver dropped an easy catch, Ito missed a field goal (which was admittedly from pretty far out)...whatever. I'm just mad. |

And West Virginia goes to the Orange Bowl, Rutgers... probably will be playing sometime in December. Shame.

Originally posted by ColinActually, since Louisville won today, they get the BCS bowl bid. Which is good, in my opinion, because Rutgers was fluke-ish all year, and I think Louisville has a better chance of providing a quality game to watch. They should probably beat Wake Forest when the bowl comes around. |

Oh man, I knew that too. I forgot that it wasn't a title game, it was merely the last regular season game. Still, West Virginia gets a better bowl than Rutgers... Gator Bowl?

HOW BOUT THEM FLORIDA GATORS
Even if they don't make it to the title game, there will be such a stink surrounding it. |

Originally posted by ToxicI may be just optimistic.. but I really believe this will be enough to instigate big change in the system. I really do. SEC Champs + #1 Schedule strength + Rematch would not seem right on so many levels. I would actually rather just claim OSU to be champs rather than make them play a Michigan team that they already have beaten, although that obviously would not happen. |

I think there's going to be a stink about it no matter who goes to the big game. This is the fatal flaw of the BCS-- if there are 3 teams above all others instead of 2.

Three unbeaten teams is always the icing on the cake.
Then again, I wouldn't be a huge fan of a playoff system... thanks to upsets, the final might not be so appealing. |

Wow. Florida has passed Michigan in both the AP and Harris polls. If speculation I've heard is correct, the BCS computers will have those two extremely close, and I would assume Florida is going to the title game. Crazy. |
