From what I heard Eddie George said, Haynesworth has done this many times before but with his own teammates during practice. Then he said something along the lines of asking why he isn't mature at his age.

Nope, no criminal charges being filed by Gurode. I guess Haynesworth's apologies were enough to satisfy him in this regard. On another note, who's ready for the Eagles/Cowboys game this weekend?

Any game is good I suppose, I might tune in to it.
I'm more worried about my Broncos facing the Ravens. I hope the Broncos can turn around their shitty start to the season and beat the Ravens. |

Some scores from today:
Tennessee 25, Washington 22 Tampa Bay 14, Cininatti 13 Carolina 23, a KYLE BOLLER led Baltimore 21 How the hell does Kyle Boller step in and throw 3 touchdown passes? And how the hell does that Baltimore defense LOSE when their offense got them 21 points? (PS I personally went to that game, and that offsides call at the end of the game was BULLSHIT. The Carolina runningback clearly jumped.) Also, I am amazed by Vince Young. I figured he would have to wait a couple years to start winning, and honestly somewhat questioned his ability as a QB... definately not. The kid is a winner. Fortunately for my Ravens, Cinci somehow managed to lose to the Bucs, meaning Baltimore still has control of 1st place. |

How about the Saints? I thought the Eagles were due for a letdown... but still, I didn't think this game would be it. I still don't think they're a playoff team, though.

so who seen that episode of "when dennis green attacks?" -- I really have no idea how you can have 6 turnovers and still win a game, crazy bears. |

Yeah I picked up Grossman in my fantasy league and traded him before this game. I was deeply saddened to see that Leinart was picked up though.
Also note: futility award to Edge James and the Cards' O-Line. Totally anemic performance. |

Well, now that Philly lost again, tonight's game is huge in determining first place in the NFC East. TO vs. Shockey in the battle of the large mouthed pass receivers.
Also, what's with all the steroid-positive tests? Merriman and Shaun Rogers among others suspended recently... all I know is that this is going to hurt the Chargers. (edited by Dr_Death16 on 10-23-06 07:48 AM) |

Wow speaking of fantasy football (my last post) thank you Edge and the Cards...
After OWNING the NFL leaders, Da Bears, for 3 quarters, you go and get shit on by the Raiders. Incredible. Absolutely mind boggling. I think Denny Green lost his will to live after the Bears fiasco and didn't bother planning for this game. |

The Dallas Cowboys soap opera continues.. Bledsoe gets benched, finally, for the now-hometown fave Tony Romo (who promptly throws 3 interceptions in 1 half). So, question is: Who starts next week? And also, when will T.O. officially join in the fun and start wreaking havoc?

Al Davis should retire now while he's still alive and well, I think the Raiders' situation is killing him. Or at least making him a bit crazy... (edited by Dr_Death16 on 10-25-06 11:11 AM) |

Yeah, Bishop got drafted by the Pats, and he was considered the Mike Vick of his time before he totally panned out. Cannon arm, quick feet, but he never amounted to anything. All he ever did was throw bombs at halftime or the end of games, despite Drew "Dropping Bombs" Bledsoe being the first stringer at the time. |
