@OOC: Hmmm....ok. I'll see if I can work something out between you and DM, and see what we can do. If needed, DM could remain a backup, so whenever someone DOES fall out and doesn't come back, he can fill in for them until they do

Alright, no update here at the moment, I am trying to get Floor 2 and Floor 1 drawn. I am going to let Riku come back in the game, but I'll set DM aside as the first replacement for anyone who vanishes out of nowhere.
Expect this to be updated tomorrow night. |

@Madman200: That all depends on how quickly this game goes. They have to get through 2 more floors and exit ------------------------------------------------- (((((DARKDATA))))) You slowly walk through the door at the end of the hall. You have entered a large hall with a tall ceiling. You can hear footsteps coming down the right passage, and someone panting. It sounds like one of your friends! (((((FABIO))))) You head back down the hallway you came, and towards the other hall. You can hear a door close as you approach, which makes you freak out a little. However...that is all you hear. (((((CIRVANTE))))) You walk towards a large stone chamber at the end of the dining room, that was not there the last time you came. At the left side of it is a double steel door which looks sealed shut. On the wall to the right of the door, there are two buttons - one that has a down arrow on it, and one that has a picture of a double square with a line through it, symbolizing the door. You assume it is an elevator. ((((RIKU))))) -resume next turn- ----------------------------------------------- Oh, as for the whole DM/Riku thing...err, pretend it never happened. I am terrible with adding characters in like that, and that was pretty tough to work with, so yeah Also, updated map, as promised...looks like a couple of you need to start using keys soon.

---------------------------------------------- Out of a window near you, you can see the sun slowly rising. It is now morning. ---------------------------------------------- (((((DARKDATA))))) You move north, no obstacles stopping you. You do, however come to a split in the path. To the north, for the first time since you were brought into the house, you see stairs winding down. A strange moaning can be heard from below, and you know it must be fearful. To the west, there appears to be yet another fork. (((((FABIO))))) You head back through the hall and into the storage room once again. On the northeast wall is a locked door. Do you wish to open it with your key? (((((RIKU))))) As you try to head into the north hallway, you step onto the glass tube in the middle of the room. It immediately flings you around in a circle, making you very dizzy. When it stops, you see a new hallway - however, you cannot tell if it's north, east, or west. You shake uneasily from the spin - you may want to consider catching your breath for a minute. (((((CIRVANTE))))) -turn was missed- (1) ------------------------------------------------------- USEFUL INFO #1: Please take note of the Red Locked Doors on the map. These cannot be opened by a regular mansion key - you will need to find special keys hidden in various rooms to open them - please also note that there is nothing in the halls leading to them....soo....err....don't go towards the doors without a key...ok? k. USEFUL INFO #2: Remember, the first one out alive wins. You folks may almost be done floor 3, but you need to get through floor 2 and 1 also. Who knows how many will be left by the time you are ready to exit......

Hmm that state room has a locked door!

---------------------------------------- All four players feel a bit hungry. ----------------------------------------- (((((FABIO))))) You stick your castle key into the lock, and turn. The key, and the lock, disintigrate to dust. You open the door and enter a new hall. The flames on the torches of the wall are three colours - red, yellow, and blue. The hall continues to the very end where there is a steel barred door. On the ground, you see many misshapen stones. (((((CIRVANTE))))) You push the down button. The elevator dings, and shakes momentarily. You then press the door button, and the door opens slowly. The elevator is disgusting - mold is caked on the walls, and bloody chains dangle from the roof of it. On the wall inside the elevator is two buttons - one is labeled "2" and the other is labeled "1" (((((DARKDATA))))) You reenter the chest room and begin working your way back to the room with the statues. (((((RIKU))))) You sit against the wall, and catch your breath after the dizzying But you still don't know where the revolving door spit you out ..... ---------------------------------------------- USEFUL INFO: fabio just unlocked a door. On the map, unlocked doors will appear green, and will forever remain open to all four players.

------------------------------------------------ (((((DARKDATA))))) You keep dashing towards the statue room. You finally make it to the door, and pull it open. Nothing has changed since you were last here. The door on the far wall is still locked, and needs a key....but what dangers lie beyond it? (((((RIKU))))) You look around the walls for something that might tell you which way you're facing - but nothing directional jumps out at you. However, on an opening in the wall, there is a strange looking battery. It is labeled "High Strength and Durable. Good for tough situations like haunted mansion kidnappings." (((((FABIO))))) As you walk past the torches, they seem to flare with life. When you get about halfway across the room, a tile in the floor suddenly crashes down under your foot. However, you immediately realize you just stepped on a switch. A large slab of stone crushes down from the ceiling and blocks your way forward - but a portion of the wall beside you opens, revealing a new passage. (((((CIRVANTE))))) You hit the button labeled 2. The elevator door crashes shut, and the voice you hate bursts through an intercom in the roof. "It looks like your little friend gave you a head start. However, this will not be easy for you, AHAHAHAHA." The intercom crackles, and then falls silent. All of a sudden, the room goes pitch black, and you feel the elevator falling lower and lower....all you can do it wait and pray you land safely. ----------------------------------------------- USEFUL INFO: In another couple of turns, one of the players is about to reach Floor 2. I am going to publicize the map for everyone to see - however, none of you except Cirvante will know where you'll end up when you get down here, so don't think the map will help you...yet....
