I want to say the backdrop of GMMWBG comes from Yoshi's Island. Somehow, that font looks like the Yoshi Story font I have and seeing as you mentioned in the readme, it comes from a sequel.
That's just a guess. Also, custom songs in the arcade = awesome. I have got to remember to put THE IMPOSSIBLE SONG III on it and have someone else play with me. Well, tomorrow I'm going to actually go to the arcade with the ITG 2 machine. I don't think it has a thumbdrive, though, seeing as it was previously a DDR machine. |

I don't know what the backdrop is but it sounds VERY familiar... I've definitely heard the chords before but no clue.
Hint? |

Got some scores to beat. DD, you're going to hate me on a few of them. |

Ugh... I think I figured it out. :\ Not going to spoil it here but after looking at the font... it makes perfect sense.

I could have sworn it was less. Well, would it work on R2?
Yeah, that machine I played today sucked. Considering it was DDR pads, they weren't... well, good. Are DDR pads bigger than ITG mats, by the way? It seemed like that to me. I thought I was pressing the up arrow but instead I was pressing the top of the center. Maybe an indention difference...? Best scores were Music Please Hard with a 93-ish (got 9th on the records) and Da Roots Expert with a 80-ish (no record). I couldn't do Disconnected Expert and Anubis Expert, even though I did very well until the 32nds (?) showed up on Anubis. It was funny to watch a kid do Energizer Easy with a 3x mod on. XD The arrows went flying across the screen at 900 BPM. HAHAHAHA! I couldn't stop laughing. Until a kid that was 10 years old (I think) do Remember December Hard with a 85%. Oh well. To cheer myself up, I got an early birthday gift of DDR Supernova. I am impressed with it so far. The songs that scare me the most so far: Xepher on Challenge and Healing D-Vision. |

So I unlocked the Stellar Joint: The Last on DDR SN PS2. Wow, that's a lot of red songs. Also, there's apparently a hidden joint after that. Damn, silly me having that spoiled. Ah well.
ALSO: How people read those 300+ BPM songs on X1.5 is beyond me. EDIT: cpu, if I recall correctly, it's actually the ITG pads that are slightly bigger, but their indentation isn't as deep as DDR pads. They both feel pretty much the same to me though. (edited by Emptyeye on 10-13-06 10:25 PM) |

Healing D-Vision is nothing to be scared of on heavy (atleast when played normally). No, see what you should be scared of are Faxx and Fascination ~eternal love mix~. Chaos is evil too. All of those on Oni though is pure hell. So yeah, Xepher Oni and HDV are the least of your worries. Also, wait til you see some of the Diamon Ex Showdowns (even the one on popcorn is hard for me). There are some really messed up mods on the Showdowns.

It seems you beat me in Satan's Castle by 2 mill, but I beat you in excellents by like 30, not like that really matters though, cuz I can't feel my right hand anymore as it is.

Hiryuu, The Impossible Song III is 1:53...
And I know it isn't hard, but the thing was... well, I can't do arcade mats apparently. I know I passed it pad before. I just couldn't do anything yesterday that I knew I could do. Anyway, played a lot more of SuperNOVA. Yeah, Chaos is evil, but it isn't hard except for the many... many stops. Yeah, but I still like Xepher a lot as well as Moon, murmur twins, Red Zone, and many others. Anyway, I have a few scores of Stepmania myself. All keyboard except the second. Would have more, but my StepMania likes to make every other screenshot blank for some reason... Airwave-08 Challenge - Did this a little while ago. Don't remember beating this score... One Winged Angel Challenge Pad - From Final Fantasy Minipack by the creator of the Albumix series. Hard to do on pad, for sure. Sakuranbo Kiss Challenge I Am Maid Heavy QQQ Challenge - So close to FCing it. Vio Challenge Riviera Battle Theme Challenge 20031023 Heavy Exciting Hyper Highspeed Star Heavy - I FC'd this sucker. |

It's very possible, btw...and my profile has two re-releases added to it. And I thought III was longer...the other two were. (edited by Millenia on 10-15-06 02:16 PM) (edited by Millenia on 10-15-06 02:17 PM) |

There's actually a bit of a loophole in R21's two-minute limit. It seems the game only checks the length of the MUSIC file to see if it's under 2 minutes (Makes sense; I don't know if the step files even have anything that would allude to length). In other words, you can make the music file 1:59, but the steps will continue without music to their end, even if the file was originally more than two minutes.
This can also have amusing applications, like dancing to, say, John Cage's "4'33"". |

Actually, that's a glitch with Stepmania that they've never fixed. You can have a 60 minutes song put with 30 seconds of steps and they'll call it a Marathon. It's something they've never really taken care of.
