My bad. Quint would be there, but Enker was the one in MM1.
Cost me a few lives the first time I took him on. |

I like MM 2, MM 5, MM 8, MM and Bass, MM the Power Fighters, and MM X 6. Those were the easiest ones for me that I can actually beat and have fun doing it. MM socker was a compleate fail. I also like Megaman in the Marvel vs Capcom series.

Oh yea, speaking of megaman games, is it just me or does it seem that for every megaman, they have a different music composer that does all the songs for the stages? MM2 has the best songs IMO. Followed by MMX and MMX2.

I really haven't played much Mega Man. I rented 1 and got hosed in the ice world, owned and beat 2 and 3, borrowed 4 and didn't get very far. I've beaten X, and I think I played X2, but I really can't remember. Bah. But I do know that 3 is my favorite. I loved the level design, music, bosses, and gizmos and the slide move and random assclownery that was possible (getting the Rush Jet early, bouncing out of bottomless pits). It was just fun to beat my favorite levels over and over and over again. Top Man was an especially amusing pushover.

MMX, and MMX2.
After that, things kinda went to crap. Megaman games that are not too kiddy or retarded to the max would be the X series on SNES. |

I think I forgot to tell which my absolute Megaman game was.
It was MM3. I borrowed it from one of my little brother's friends over the summer. The Music was great and I liked the bosses too. I could sit and beat the final stages over and over again. I memorized the code to the final stages. The second Wily music rocks. |

I covered all versions of the game right there, and yes, R&F WS is supposed to be separate; it's completely different from R&F SFC / MM&B GBA. Oh, and Mega Man 3 has the best Mega Man music, followed by MM2. Great stuff. |

Originally posted by Santa-lastor the StylishRepeated for emphasis. I'm a big Megaman fan. For the classics, I'd have to say MM2 and 3. The sixth was...ugh. 5 wasn't as bad, but still kinda stale. 4 Was pretty good, however, I just don't like having to go through the "Final Fortress" levels just to have to repeat them again (after you discover Wily was the real villian. omg who'da thunk it!?!?) For the X, X2 was just great. I unfortuantely do not own either X2 or X3. The SNES X games were my favorite. X4 was basically the only real good Playstation X game. Battle Network. Meh...never really got into this one. I'll just say MMBN1 since it was indeed very good, and fresh. Zero. Zero 1. Easily. As a side note, out of them all, one of my all-time favs is Megaman Legends. Such fun with that. I'm not going to bother voting in the poll. (edited by The Politician on 12-15-05 09:28 PM) |

My choice is MM2.
Even though I have zero to none skills in Mega Man, I liked the game. It really stuck with me and such. |

I found that the Mega Man series were a lot more enjoyable than the X series. I thought the challenge was more in the Mega Man series because you did not have any armor upgrades. Granted that's what I found fun in the X series but the X games were a little too easy for me.

MMX. The first MM game I ever played, and it took me years to get past Rangda Bangda, then another few years to beat Sigma and then Velguarder. MMZ3 is also good, but I didn't vote for it.

I would say megaman and bass. I always found the game near impossible but i also really enjoyed playing it. I rist played it on the SNES and then afterwards got it on the gba. However i do like the battle network series

Hmm, out of all of them, I'd probably say MM3. MMX2 was also really good, and I really enjoyed the Battle Network series. Didn't really get into Zero, Legends or any of the other ones.
Vote goes to MM3 |
