is there any way to do this? I was just wondering because my Monitor is MUCH nicer than my TV, and It'd be awesome if I could get some converter of a sort to be able to play console games (new and old) on it while I have my sterio handle the sound.
I know some consoles (dreamcast, 360) have plugs for this, but I want Gamecube, xbox, SNES, NES, Genesis, and the rest. Hell, Im not even buying a 360, and a cable just for my Dreamcast is just a waste of money. is this even possible? edit: I just meant video, duh. I was thinking backwards (2 video 1 audio, but we all know its 1 video 2 audio) just ignore that part of the title. (edited by spiroth10 on 10-01-06 03:21 PM) |

It's possible to convert standard A/V to be used on a monitor, but most new consoles have a digital output that would be better suited to the task (higher resolution and looks much better). |
