There are few people I'm interested in meeting. =\ A convention is fun to think about though.

I would attend, but if it's outside Europe, it would probably very difficult for me to get there.

They don't give out visa to Russian citizens easily.

Never actually met an Acmlmboarder yet myself, though I had contact with a few on Skype and was just ~50km away from Ailure last fall for like two hours (in Helsingborg) (bad internet access in the Copenhagen hotel and his oddball sleeptimes made me unable to negotiate an actual meeting).

See, four or five years ago, I knew everyone, and was very active here. Now, I have like no clue what's going on around here.

Still, I guess I could go and wear a shirt that said "Capital Z, damnit!" - that way, those people who would understand and thus hopefully be interested in talking to me would be those people I'd be interested in talking to.

I doubt that inactive members would spend their money to go to a convention full of people they don't even know. I would assume that a majority of those that would attend... would be active members. Or someone who lucked out and the convention was in their town.

A convention doesn't have to be like 500 people. 20 is good! I dunno, doesn't have to be superlarge, anyway.
