I believe you're referring to animated gifs. You'll have to find a program to make those.

I think it does, but he's obviously too much of a n00b to figure out anything on his own.

Microsoft GIF Animator can do (it's free, so)... I don't have a link to it, so you have to search it up.

My method
1: Open up FCE Ultra re-recording (http://bisqwit.iki.fi/nesvideos/) 2: Open the game, record the movie. 3: Play the movie, and record AVI. Use Tech-Smith Screen Capture Codec 4. Open Camtasia Studio, import that AVI into the workspace. 5. Drag that clip into your timeline. 6. Produce movie as GIF file. I use special methods to do this, as you see, the screen won't scroll, it's too hard to explain |

I use what I call the BETA-CHEAT method (first person to guess corectly wins a breath of air!):
Open up Game Maker (that'[s the name of it, really) and create a new sprite. In MSpaint, make all the images you want in the ain. GIF (Make sure there all the same size!) and edit the image with the LAST image you want to show. Save and exit. Paste in all of you images in reverse order, clicking on the grey area inbetween. When your done, save the picture as a GIF. Tada! |

Use FCEU to record the AVI first. Then rip the map from the game, you can use Print Screen and merge them together, or download the map of the level from the website. Crop the map and get the size of it. Open Flash, make a new document and set the Flash size to the map pixel size. Import the map to the workspace. Make a new layer and import the video with highest quality. After imported that video, press F8 and convert it to graphic. Change its mode to Play Once. (There is Single Frame, Play Once, and Loop) Then press F6 by the way to keyframe the timeline as well as moving the movie so the position in the AVI matches the map. Export as GIF. I use Flash MX 2004 Pro. |

Another of my work: Look at the top, you will see the top of the screen that the status bar move along, which is should be cropped. (by layer masking) |
