| The GBA doesn't have any native 3D hardware, but has scaling and rotation of backgrounds and sprites. It's also ~4x as fast as the SNES and has twice as much RAM, and the carts can be much bigger, so software 3D is slightly more feasible than it was on SNES.
The Triforce in LTTP would consist of maybe 24 triangles, with no textures, lighting, hit detection etc, so I think a stock SNES could probably pull it off if it weren't too busy. |
