I didn't think there was anywhere else besides this place to post this...
If anyone is familiar with James Patterson's "Maximum Ride" series, this will make sense to you. True it is an awesome book, and I'm not surprised fan sites have spawned all over the internet, but there was one I came across that I think is just plain weird... http://www.wingkidsarereal.com/ The pictures they have of the so called bird kids are crap... This is so much like those stupid sites with pictures of UFOs, even though half the time you can see that it was photoshopped in. Then there is the "What We Know" part of the site, which goes on about how James Patterson may be somewhat in contact with the children. First off the book seems too fictionny (Made up word! Shut up!) anyway. Secondly they have neglected to notice the two books (When The Wind Blows and The Lake House) he wrote before hand about bird kids and genetic research and crap like that. They were written quite a while before Maximum Ride. I'm almost certain the entire website is simply a joke, but it's the kind of people who do this kinda thing that piss me off... The fact there are probably people out there who firmly believe every word they say is disturbing... I don't exactly know why I'm posting about this BTW... I just felt like it, needed to have a turn at ranting. |

I should start my own church. 'Church of the dusty N64 console.'
I mean, I'm sure I can summon lightning if I turn it on and off enough. |
