Well, I'm stuck between the first and MM & Bass. Though once you beat the first Megaman, it becomes easy. So I guess I have to say Megaman & Bass.

None of them are *hard*. I mean MM1 was tough if you can't do the glitch to kill the demon (MOFUCKER!) and MM2 isn't that bad. I hated MM3 for some reason, I always got diiiiiiizzzzztroyed. And MM&B...hard? Spugh!?

Okay, this was quite hard. Iīve only played MM3, 4, 5 and 6 for NES and none of them were that hard to beat. MM3 was in fact quite easy. Megaman 7 had the hardest final boss IMO.
Iīve only played the first 3 of the Megaman X games. Sure, they could be challenging but they are not impossible at all. I donīt know what to vote. Edit: So the X games were not included. Edit 2: And Iīve played too little of Megaman & Bass to know if itīs hard or not. I beat Groundman pretty easily, though. Bah. These games aren't hard enough to difficulty rankings in relation to one another; they're all really easy . Even without utilizing any bugs (that comment's to you MM1 select-pause cheaters, specifically ), they're all quite easy. If you want a challenge, try beating them without any special weapons whereever possible. It's commonly pretty easy, but in some cases it can be an absolute nightmare (the yellow devil in MM1? Oh god. It takes 28 hits to kill him, which is a long time not to die in, PLUS his eye is commonly too high to shoot, so it can take as long as 60 or so cycles to beat him. I can beat him without getting hit a lot of the time if I use the Elec Beam, since that's only 7 cycles, but not messing up too many times in 60 cycles is really, really hard. Ugh). But yeah: these games aren't hard.

I hate Megaman 4. The levels are tough and the bosses are hard. It's just an annoying game, especially with a Gamecube controller. I have the Anniversary Collection, and gods, that iteration is a real bitch.

Wow...this is missing quite a few. Zero series would probably be termed the hardest but then I notice a bunch of times that's because you can barely tell if you're going to run into something that's going to kill you.
7 would probably be the most of a pain on that list. |

No love for MM5's difficulty, huh?
Crystal Man's stage gave me absolute fits when I was younger. Long stage + cheap boss = not good. |

Cheap boss? Pff. Not really. He's an easy dodge for his projectile shots. Crystal Man reminded me of Marc Summers back when I was 10 or so...this being the case, I watched way too much Double Dare when I was a kid.

I'm going to say MM7 purely because of that ridiculously hard final encounter with Wily in the pod. MM&B comes at a close second due to some horrible stage designs and Burner Man...

I fail to see how it's possible to beat Rockman & Forte without the use of save states or ZSNES's rewind key.

I remember Crystal Man being hard. And even if I'm wrong, his stage was the longest in the game if I remember correctly. So there.
Oh... I beat MM&B without cheating. But it's certainly up there in terms of difficulty, especially since you have to play through it twice if you want all the CD's. |

Who voted two?
Who the hell voted for two? Because I'd be damned if that and 3 weren't the easiest. Now, Megaman: Network Transmission. That one was a bitch. |

The original was hardest overall. Megaman 7... hardest boss. I know a easy trick to beating him though, so I can do it easily. I did it without using E-cans before even.

What the hell, you guys. Megaman 7 is easy shit, even the final boss.
Now, the original NES games, I can't stand those. I absolutely suck at all of them. Maybe I just don't have the skill... |

You should be able to beat 2 through 4, Grey. :\ Not saying they're a piece of cake but you probably wouldn't die 300 times or anything.
2 and 3 were about as good as it got for the series. The peak. |

I meant to click on 8, but I accidentally clicked 7. Anyway, 8 because of the Wily level. It takes like, 2 hours, and the only time I've ever found myself able to beat it was one summer morning, at about 4:30.
