I have a second hard drive in my PC, and I want to format from windows...is it possible? I dont wanna go into the linux and do it from there, since it takes too much work.
edit: I got it...partition magic worked (edited by dcahrakos on 12-09-05 10:15 PM) |

With Partition Magic you can format your second hard drive. In the first HD what OS do you have?? | |||

BTW: Partition Magic is extremely buggy, there are _many_ reports of severe data loss due to the use of Partiton Magic, I don't recommend that you continue using it. For general creation/deletion, both WinXP and Ubuntu have necessary tools built-in.
If you're doing resizing, then boot into Ubuntu or a Linux LiveCD. ntfsresize handles NTFS; parted handles FAT, ext2, reiserfs, xfs. (there's also graphical front-ends like QtParted and GParted if you want to install them in Ubuntu) |

If it's not the drive Windows is running from, you can just right-click and click Format. |
