I'm not this new to Rom hacking...I've just never worked with DS roms before. Now I uses unLz.Gba to get image of sprites. I change the pallete but I don't get it. I said forget it and loaded the raw file I saved into tile molester. I set the block size and everything is good. Cept you can't get DS save states and the only way to get the correct palette is by getting the right offset....does this involve me looking through all the hex in the rom or some other method? And I have tried emulating to the point of where the the sprites I want are are riping the colours...to bad I can't get to actually playing the game....

Fun fact: DS colors are the same format as GBA and SNES.
I for one use whatever VRAM viewer the emulator might pack to list a couple colors, byteswap 'em and then search for the resulting hex string in a hex editor. Instant location(s). |

Well, I always enter 256 and edit the value in the XML file later on. | |||

Fun fact: RGB555 is also called highcolor. That's the SNES/32X/GBA/NDS color right there.
Funner fact: The DS can support 16 256-color palletes on one screen, and another on the top. That's a fuckton of colors! |
