This is how it is. I just bought 100 new dvd-r. And when I tried to burn a movie with dvd decrypter it didn't get pass the inlead process. Now when I tried to burn the same movie (in .IMG btw) with my one of my older dvd-r, it burnt perfectly fine.
Is there anyway to fix this? What could the problem you think? Since both discs are dvd-r (not +r, +rw or something) there shouldn't be any differences, should it? |

different drives like different brands of -R media (same goes for +R/ +RW/ -RW media). A firmware update may enable you to use this media. If it doesn't, you are out of luck. (edited by neotransotaku on 08-11-06 11:04 PM) |

Does the drive support DVD-R?
Also like neo said, try to see if the manufacturer has an updated firmware version. You could also try unofficial firmware hacks, though be warned that you're at your own risk in doing so (however it usually has benifits, like disabling region lockouts, adding features that the hardware supports but the official firmware blocks for more money on higher-priced 'models', etc) |

Originally posted by FreeDOS + As it has burnt about 100 dvd-r already it should be able to do that. Yeah, I'll look for a firmware and tell you how it went. Edit: didn't find anything usefull, only found one thing searching on google, and I really don't think it will fix my problem + it seem complicated. So... I don't know what to do now. I have a _NEC DVD+-RW ND-6450A btw... (edited by KTurbo on 08-12-06 06:18 AM) |
