By the look of the screenies, some of the clouds are in the foreground too arn't they?
Now you just need to give the koopa shells some 'hair' coming out of it

Nice and fun picture... Their hair is just like the moustache of their male counterparts. Hmm, Maria and Luisa, same names...
Oh and yeah, I guess "Sis" works better than "Sisters", since the original says "Bros" and not "Brothers"...

This is looking real good. You and Juggling Joker are the best custom graphic makers on this board. I can't wait to play this. Idea; take the pic from that 2nd site (the one that had the Super Mario Sisters pic) and make some cartridge art. I did with my SML 2 demo. I'll dig it up on the old board and post it.

All in all, i've gotta play this. Make female wario and male peach for the nd. That'll scare everyone. It may also make the final boss harder seeing the female wario will make children cry

People may not agree with me, but I think making everyone a female in this game takes out some of its charm... See that "Super Mario Sisters" picture that inspired you, only Mario and Luigi appear as females in that one, and it's good and all... But I don't think I'd like it as much if all the enemies around them were females.
That's just my opinion though... And I don't mean you should just use the original enemy sprites either.

I think that all the characters (except peach) will be female. I think many people here agree with me. I am just trying something different than the usual Koopas and Goombas that you have seen countless times.

But after I release this hack, I will be making other versions of the hack. Such as different looks for the enemies and Maria. Possibly make it so that you can play as a girl version of Toad or something.

Make it so that the king is kidnapped. Princes have more of a fighting chance than Kings.
