"Advance" means RSEFRLG (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red, Leaf Green). In other words, the most recent generation of Pokemon titles; the ones for Game Boy Advance.

A schedule will be defined once enough people have signed up.

Battles will be held over NetBattle, obviously. (Latest Versiion: 0.96)

The rules of this tournament are as such:

1. Battles are Advance Mode single battles, with everyone in "Full Advance" as their version.

2. Which server is used doesn't matter.

3. The following clauses are to be in place:
a. Sleep Clause
b. Freeze Clause
c. Apply PP Ups
d. Battle Timeout

Unrated and Show Enemy HP are optional.

If it isn't listed here, it shouldn't be on in your matches.

4. The following pokemon are banned from the tournament:

Mewtwo
Lugia
Ho-oh
Rayquaza
Kyogre
Groudon
Mew
Latios
Latias
Deoxys
Deoxys-F
Deoxys-L
Deoxys-E
Wobbuffet
Wynaut

Outside of Wobbuffet\Wynaut, these Pokemon are "Uber" pokemon. Their combined stats are very high and they have no limiting traits. Wobbuffet and Wynaut are banned because of their trait, Shadow Tag, which prevents opponents from switching. Thus, if two wobbuffets\wynauts are sent to battle each other and both have Leftovers, it becomes an unwinnable battle. Banning Wob\Wyn prevents this from ever happening.

5. You may not have more than one of the following pokemon on your team:

Celebi
Jirachi
Articuno
Zapdos
Moltres
Suicune
Raikou
Entei
Regirock
Regice
Registeel

These pokemon are "Legendary" pok?mon. Most of them are quite powerful. Celebi and Jirachi have the qualifications to be "Ubers" if you look at their stats, but Celebi has too many key weaknesses and Jirachi does not have a good enough movepool for them to be considered "Ubers." Note that despite their stats, Dragonite, Tyranitar, Metagross, and Salamence aren't on here. They don't fit the "legendary" qualification simply because the game doesn't consider them so; they're found in the wild, except for Metagross, but we know there's more than one of it anyway. Either way, they all have several key weaknesses, and all but Metagross have double weaknesses to very common attack types.

6. Other than that, there's no restrictions. "Skarmbliss" is legal, there are no item bans, "Perishtrapping" is fine, etc.
