Why the hell do DIV's absolutely hate working inside tables when you apply a height: 100% style? Was trying to remember how to get my background color to always fill the blank area, and some of you may of caught the rampant stupidity of my posts freaking out the tables. If you didn't, it makes the div go way beyond the lower edge of the table cell when the text is large, instead of expanding the table with it like normal.
I know there is a solution to this, I just can't remember wtf it was. |

For me it works fine. Either try using both height=100% and width=100%, or use two divs, one for the background and one for the text.

Oh... BTW, "height: 100%" screws with your spoiler tags
This is coming from personal experience |

Tables are likely your best bet actually. At least with them you know they'll work.

I have a CSS question too, but didn't want to start a whole new topic. Post looks fine, until I edit it. The "Edited by" thing at the bottom is on the border of my post. It definitely doesnt look right. I will edit this post so you can see what I mean.
Edit: Don't say "Post right the first time" as a solution either. (edited by Kario on 08-04-06 04:39 PM) |
