PLAY THIS GAME! or I will Detective point-n-click-style SNES game that was released when the system was on its last legs and wonderfully translated by Demiforce and Tomato. Managed to tie #1 on my all-time favorite game list and seems to go well with everyone that's played it so far. Why link to the ROM? afiak, this game was released over a satelliete or similar; therefore, it's safe to assume that there are few, if any "real" copies of this that will last, and therefore picking up a copy of this game is throughly and completely impossible in all respects. Yes!
I just played through this game. It is one of the best games ever. That sounds fanboyish. Well to quote someone it is a game that will bring you into "a whirlwind of confusion, suspicion, love, horror, lies..." And " humor if you look in the right places " (edited by Darkdata on 07-24-06 02:45 PM) |

That's just an excuse for downloading the rom. XD
Of course, I'm not going to argue over Xk posting a rom for download, so... do as you wish, guys. |

Im 3 hours into this and it is great!
Definatly a must-play. I would consider playing it during day hours however, as it does tend to become creepy (But it might just be me, things that make me "think" like weird movies (i.e. Dreamcatcher) creep me out.). |

I remember playing Famicom Dedective Club II back, before it was translated, made some fare progress, but it was try and error.
And the Famicom Disk System Boot Up is nut just a gag. It's ported from there. |

It was fun being a fly in the wall in IRC last night watching everyone talk about the game as they were playing it and being totally drawn in.
My wisecrack was that it was Nintendo's answer to Zork. And that I could go play Gunbound without anyone noticing - which I did. |

Beat the game in about four hours... wow.
The only thing I got right on my first try was the mysterious man's identity - Spoiler:
Goro. And I never would have guessed some on the other truths about people. Wow. |

Spoiler: Results: Terribly Serious; 12 6/7th's Hearts; Some girl who hung outside the school alot(not the tranny) saying that she liked me, and if the other girl who joined the detective agency didnt like me anymore, I knew who to go to... (edited by Sonicandtails on 07-26-06 10:08 PM) |

Hey! I didn't know that I was trying to score with the girl. If I did, I wouldn't of acused her of being the killer... Repeatedly.
... I still got %75 of all the hearts still. |

Wow... I got what, severn?
And I went looking for the original Tantei club game. Closest I got was a .torrrent that was 2.9 GB (Yes, Gigabyte), and had the GBA remake of the FDS original in with about 500 other GBA ROMs. Be neat to see that translated, though... but no way I'm D/L'ing THAT big of a file... I bookmarked the page though... so PM me if you want the link. And yeah, the "Bitch Queen" artist yelled at me too. I got serious, but I tease others and am a bit rougueish, as well as slightly absent-minded |
