Under Options->Preferences->Display->Character Filter, you can make a table of sorts. It doesn't support .tbl files though.

I believe Thingy or Thingy32 would support any .tbl files, though. If you minded switching hex editors, that is.

Thanks for pointing this out. I don't know why no one has ever mentioned it before. Who cares if you can't use a table file? It's just a little more work; and even less if you created the table yourself. In fact, if you really wanted to make it quick, you could edit the CharMaps... |

Actualy its been mentioned a few times before, I figured it out myself a little while ago. I think it was interdpth who made a charmap for the advanced games.

I don't think many people know about that feature, and since it doesn't allow extended ASCII (does it? ) or assigning multiple characters to one value (eg 0x23 = "RED"), plus the tedious process of creating the character map, most people probably just use another editor.
Costing money doesn't make a program better. Hex Workshop has a few annoying bugs. Hell, Windows is pretty expensive. |

That's funny, last time I checked this forum was about Pokémon hacking ... Anyway, use Hexacute, it's great. http://www.zophar.net/trans/transutils/Hexecute-3.0-RC7-install.exe |
