I don't think so. They are different games, even if they are based ont the SM64 Engine, I', not sure if VL-Tone's editor would work with them, maybe he'll answer that soon. | |||

First things im doing when this is realeases
Turn the first level into a Lava pit,tornado filled,dessert filled,Boshi {not yoshi} riding,rainbow riding,luigi playing,Bomb-bomb filled,long jump using,Donkey kong barrel throwing,Red coin collecting,cannon using,World of doom!!!! SecondBy bowser the size of the montian on bomb-bomb battle Feild...... |

I plan on taking Luigi from Mario Party,Same for Donkey Kong
The tornato,lava,rainbow,and sand is in the game is in the game already, And what i can add everything eles By manual addingit to the code. Boshi will be a Yoshi Retexture with shades,And the riding will be based off the OoT horse code. Cannons are in there too,and there are codes to insert into the game to change sizes, So....... It's hard,but worth it..... |

It could be an april fool's hack, like Super Fabio World! But seriuously, half of that is next to impossible, and it does sound rather stupid. I don't think I'd wanna play a world of DOOM, I'd rather play a Super Demo World: TLC kind of hack, with awesome levels, tons of secrets, and an actually fun hack. Not some kind of crap hack like ChaosComplexx. Still, newbs say the strangest things (ignore the bill cosby reference)

Toadstool 64 Version 1.0b of the editor will let you: -Move, rotate the hundreds of 3d sprites found in levels. -Change which polygon object each 3d sprite uses. -Change which behavior each 3d sprites has. -Modify the behavior parameters. -Change the music played in each level. -Edit most of the text found in the game. -Swap textures. -Edit how warps exits and entry points connect. -Add or modify item descriptions. |

I didn't even saw the name change for the thread when I posted the post about closing the thread... Anyway I simply didn't know what to decide about this, it sounded like this thread didn't make any sense for the moment. But with the new title, I guess it's alrighty The only problem is that a great affluence of newbies create opportunities for trolls, who can try to pass as newbies. Some of them are becoming very obvious, and I won't name names... So what do you think about my latest screenshot? Too glossy? Sorry but I in that mood, and that effect is trivial to add in Director. (But yeah I know, Director has its limitations too) Oh and I just realized that I should have written "Flying Carpet" instead of "Flying Rug". Incidentally, there's a retro-computer related story linked to that particular mistake. The first time I read and learned the meaning of the word "rug", was while playing a text adventure+graphics game called "Calixto Island" on my Tandy CoCo 2 (64K). One of the first puzzle was to type "PULL RUG" to reveal a trap door underneath the rug. Of course you needed to collect some stuff like a flashlight before going into the trap. So since then, whenever I'm using a computer and I have to think about a word for "carpet", I think of the word "rug" first Ehm, to get back on topic, while Zelda OOT has an engine based on M64, there are some key differences that wouldn't make it that easy. But I've rewritten my editor in a modular way so it could adapt to new commands and parameter formats, making it easier to adapt it for another game. But please Zelda fans, let me finish and polish TT64. Don't count on it from me either, I may chose to concentrate on other projects after TT64 2.x is released and debugged. Chainlink1061: Just saw your post after posting. That's a good mini FAQ. I'm currently implementing the texture export/import, and copy/paste texture functions. It may not be included if I run into a major problem (this is the type of thing that could go wrong since I never tried it and the export relies on an Xtra I never used before.) No I don't know all of the enemy names by heart like some of you Mario 64 ultra-fans, but there are lists on the web I can use to complete and verify my list. |

VL mentioned something about camera controls. I don't remember him talking about that but anyway, could we make the camera stay in a position that makes mario move only left and right. If you don't understand this think of 2D mario games, Left and right. If you haven't gotten it by now I'm considering the un-original idea of remaking SMB with the SM64 engine. |
