LOL, yeah thats right, i have never been good at remembering things right off hand like that.
I could think of many baddies i would love to put in SMW, but i will not try and list them all. But the levels we could make with the albatoss would be really cool. My fav levels were in SMB2 i think.... im drooling over what will be made now. |

I'm new, heres some enemies.
1shoe guys 2the n64 stone guys you whomp jump in the back with the bandages(spin jump to kill I guess) 3wart(through blocks at im) 4mouser 5a metroid 6pyramid head(when close to he stops and swings his knife), silly in mario world but would be neet 7walking razorz, shooting fire balls |

So far they are putting older baddies from past Mario games, if you wanted those you mentioned, you would have to make them yourself I'm afraid.
Right now when you say shoe, do you mean coriebos shoe with the goomba in it? As for anything from N64, do not count on it. We are talking SMB1 SMB2 SMB3.... and if you are lucky maybe even yoshis island, but do not count on it. |

Will it be possible for custom sprites to trigger stuff like autoscrolling the foreground or background in increments? Even better, would it be possible to scale, and even better, rotate sprites, via custum code?
OffTopic: I never understood how SMW scales/rotates FG/BG layers (like in the fight with Iggy when the platform rotates, or in the fight with Bowser (since he is *not* a sprite, rather a layer) where his copter gets smaller then bigger, and when it rotates, after coughing up the princess.) How does the game do that, and could I trigger it from a custom code? Or is it specifically mode7-related... |

Would it be great if these guys were in the greatest hacks made today using Spritetool? Big Bertha,Bloopers, Buster Beetles, Nipper Plants, Fire Bros, Chain Chomps, Fire Chomps that fly, and Spikes.

First off,
As for sprite suggestions: -A 1up that runs away from Mario -A Mario 64-style owl -YI-style bridge generators; when spawned they stop everything and create solid blocks to the right until they find a block besides #25 -Stationary Mushrooms, Stars and Feathers; moving Flowers and 3-up Moons -A Missile Bill that homes in both horizontally and vertically -SMB3's spinning red bars Also, let's not forget about the potential to create sprites that modify game settings, such as enabling side exits. You could just have one sprite that writes its X/Y position byte to a given RAM address, and hex edit the sprite itself to change which address, then just use the sprite's coords as the value to write. BTW, in your giant ? block prototype, how are you getting the Map16 address of the block and the ones around it to change? |

Big Bertha, the one that has the little fishie in her mouth. and Boss Bass, the one that chases you and tries to eat you. |
