Does anyone know how to do it? I've tried playing around the subtitle preferences in VLC Preferences but nothing changes. | |||

Change the subtitle settings, click Save, then stop and re-start the movie.
Of course these settings have no effect if the subtitles are images, or hardsubbed (the text is actually part of the video). |
