I just finished watching this movie...it was okay... of course not a blockbuster or anything but some parts were kinda cool...being a hardcore wrestling fan helps too... I have officially seen every movie in the theatre now..lol
Cars is my favorite movie out of all of them thought.. |

This movie looks beyond retarded.
But then again, I'm not a wrestling fan, and I don't care for movies that have no backbone other than the jokes. I love Jack Black as an actor, but this? Just no |

many critics are saying this sort of a continuation of Jack Black's personality from school of rock, just applied in a different context. The backbone of the story, if you want to call it that, is Jack's quest to do something for the orphans he takes care of.
Movie seems interesting and I think if you liked "School of Rock", you probably will like this movie. |

I actually really liked School of Rock - so I'm looking forward to seeing Nacho Libre. Although I'm reading a lot of mixed reviews so far - I guess I'll just have to wait for it to come out in the UK so I can judge for myself! | |||

Originally posted by Danielle Wow. I couldn't have said it any better. Yeah, I'm a Jack Black fan myself, but this just looks so dumb its just too dumb. I guess I'd have to see it myself though. I'm just not sure why a lot of people are overexcited about this one. |

Well, it ended up being #1 in the nation this weekend so some people wanted to see it.
I've heard mixed reviews. Either people like it or they don't, so there's no real common ground on it. I might check it out in a few weeks but not just yet. |

Originally posted by Colin It did? Mind you, estimates but still... I won't watch this movie. I am not really interested in Jack Black movies as a whole. I don't dislike him but I am just not motivated to watch him as an actor. But. I will most likely watch this movie if I go on a date. I prefer this over any Fast and The Furious sequels/prequels and trilogies. |

I saw this movie last night. It was okay, nothing fantastic, but overall a little boring. It did have some great moments though, but overall it was just ... eh.
Click on the other hand, was very good. |

This is one of those movies that I'll go see if my friends are going. As I recall, it's made by the creator of Napoleon Dynamite. I heard that that movie was supposed to be hilarious. I saw it with friends and didn't understand what the big deal was. It was more odd than anything else, and it did have its moments (mainly involving Rex Kwon Do), but I wondered where the real teh funny was. Turns out that it grew on me over time because it's fun to quote and talk about with your friends. I suspect that Nacho Libre might have a similar effect on me. Jack Black seems amusing, though I don't understand why some of my friends seem to think Tenacious D is the greatest thing ever. |
