....the spin jump I need to disable it because Im makin a really cool level but if you spinjump you'll beat it in 3 sec. and I don't feel like changing it,it's to long.Does anybody know where address? What do I change it?
Also,I tried making my own ExGFX but each time I insert them it asks me for a Map16 page but, I don't know how to make one what do I do? |

Originally posted by Cjuarez2 I think on SMW Central there's a method to disable it throughout the game. Some ASM work would be required to disable it for one level though.
1) Make sure "Use joined GFX files" in the Options menu is OFF. 2) Extract the graphics. This creates several files in \Graphics named GFX00.bin, GFX01.bin, etc. 3) Create an \ExGraphics folder in the same place as the \Graphics folder is in (not in the \Graphics folder itself), and copy any of the gfx??.bin files into it. 4) Rename the files in \ExGraphics to ExGFX80.bin, ExGFX81.bin and so on; the same way the originals are named, but starting at 0x80. 5) Edit the files in \ExGraphics, then click Insert ExGFX in LM. 6) In the ExGFX Bypass or Super GFX Bypass dialog, select 80 or above to use your new graphics. Somebody else told me that I had to do the same thing exept instead of renaming the Gfx to Gfx(80-whatever).bin he told me to rename them to ExGfx(80-whatever).bin.Thanks for the help! Oh and also,it's to much work just to disable the spin-jump for one level so,I just deleted the level it kinda sucked anyways! |

You are supposed to name them ExGfx, though

I was thinking he had something like a level where you have to go all the way to the right, and back left again to exit it, actually... and that'd only present a problem if he'd used turn blocks...

Oh,I did name them ExGFX but it keeps asking me for a damn map 16 page WTF! (P.S. HyperMackerel I like your title "The world ends on tuesday" it's funny yet I'm scared about all those rumors!) |

(To be honest, if the world was gonna end on Tuesday, it would of ended on the 6th of the 6th, in the Year 6, or the Year 66, or the year 666. It's all bullshit. )

Enjoy. Also, if the world ends on 6/6/06, why hasn't it ended in the past 20 centuries? |
