Is there a term for when offical artwork in no way matchs its video game counter-part. Like the Tank artwork for Blaster Master 2. Or this.
Schweiz oder etwas [12:55] (Dr_Death16); I swear, the word drama needs to be stricken from the dictionary, for I've heard it so many times, it will permanently be imprinted on my brain Since: 11-17-05 From: Kingston, Rhode Island Last post: 6431 days Last view: 6430 days |

Or this?
In the bad case, Penny Arcade came close to it, offering the word "Bullshot", which is when a screenshot in no way matches the real game that's being previewed. |

I don't think there's a term for that... Probably falls under artistic license.
(Xyger, that would probably be a mockup if it's a screenshot and not an artistic drawing, which would not be a screenshot.) |

False advertising. (For example, showing a screenshot of the game from a vantage point that you can never access in the game... like a third-person shot when the game's first-person.)
