Still too similar to the original. The detail looks okay, but a bit... cluttery.
The "1" sign should be near a castle. Do you have a castle? No? Then take it out! That red switch does NOT go there. I think you just put it there to mask your inability to handle paths properly. The red level tile still does not have a secret exit. Change it. And I'm 100% sure that you haven't even begun editing the events yet. Oh, and one last bit of advice: Remove the yellow switch mountain Remove the yellow switch mountain Remove the yellow switch mountain But if you absolutely MUST keep it, fix the bottom tiles!! Listen, NightKev. I rarely behave like an asshole to all the noobs. Please, please don't let your incessant naiveté be the reason for me to start doing so on a regular basis. What's wrong is that you need to make the tile lead to another level, and since you probably don't know how to edit events and Mario paths yet, I doubt that secondary exit would be useful. | |||

I'm not sure, but it might look better if you put one of those octagon pads underneath the switch palace; that is, if you really want it to lead off into a new direction. Otherwise, what you have there would work. Good job with the little bumps and hill-esque things though, you really did that pretty well. It makes the overworld look a bit more nice. Also, I'm assuming the castle is at the top of that mountain then? If so, then I guess that's okay... My main complaint, and probably everyone elses, would probably be the shape of your island. It's nearly identical man! You should consider reshaping the island, or making it a square of land. Do something creative and original, we've all seen Yoshi's Island before! |
