I really want to use this in my hack. I was just going to test it by giving one of my water levels the DKC watery effect, but when I tryed to use the .bat file, it did nothing. Is it because I'm in Windows XP? Are there any tutorials about how to use it?
Cirvania Cyball I guess this is as close as Xkeeper will get to spell it right. :< Since: 11-17-05 From: The Island of Puerto Rico. Last post: 6433 days Last view: 6431 days |

First of all, his name is d4s, not D4.
Second, his HDMA kit requires a CLEAN, UNMODIFIED ROM. As in, starting over from scratch, which, needless to say, is something not many of us are willing to do. There's also the option of BMF's HDMA kit, but it requires that you know a shitload of ASM. |

I got a new 200 byte header rom. Can I just use Snes tool to delete the entire header, then patch the HDMA patch to it?

I figured out how to get it to work. Is thereany easier way to fix the OW alettes, that's the only thing that's stopping me from starting a new hack, the rest of the levels/palettes/gfx can be exported/imported, so it's not a big deal, just a matter of oraganizing it back right. The OW can be saved by opening my previous rom and then loading the new one up w/o reseting unsaved OW changes, then I just press save. The only problem is the damn palettes in the OW. Any easier way to fix it?
