| I'm not too enthused about any of these systems, nor do I see why two of them cost so much. I'd lean towards the Wii, but I'm kind of tired of Nintendo's inability to provide more games I'd be interested in buying lately. Like, their offering of titles lately is almost all sports games with Mario themes. How about creating some new characters for once? Or attracting more third party developers that appeal to a broader range of gamers my age? Though it is a quintessential cliche nowadays, Nintendo is kiddy. It's marketing does not follow its fanbase, it targets children year after year.
All I know is, if I buy any of these, my primary consideration will probably be how easy it will be to run homebrew code on it. B/c I'm way more interested in programming than actual gameplaying these days. |

You're right. Nintendo is kiddy. That's why they're launching Red Steel, as well as a gritty, ass-kicking Link (which may involve red blood! gasp!).

| I'll be getting a Wii and an Xbox 360. I'll be getting the Wii for it's awesome Nintendo games respectively, and then an X360 for the more "traditional" control oriented games. and Sonic Next of course. | |||

| Wii, definitely. I'm not interested in the 360, xbox never appealed to me. As for PS3, maybe somewhere down the line I'll get one if there are enough good games out for it. Otherwise I don't really need it. | |||
