Making an editor is just like making any other program. There's no generic "editor creation" utility you can use to slap one together.
You'll need to learn programming concepts, and you'll need to learn a programming language. |

Projects like that have been thought up in the past. I think one or two may have even had production started -- but none of them went anywhere.
A "plug in your own info" editor is harder than it may seem. |
