I got my player sorted with the help of someone on this borad. But now i tryed to play mr & mrs smith and half of it is missing. Before i changed player it was all there but the sound was screwed up. any help? | |||

If it's a legal DVD, check it for scratches. If you downloaded/burned it (tsk, tsk) it's probably corrupt. Also see if anything else does the same. | |||

This thread is like a month old... but yes, make sure you have all the right codecs and try reinstalling them.
Also, I've seen DVD players that play AVI. |
