In Wario Land 3, I got vines to go in a few levels. In the level "The Pool Of Rain", Apparently, you can't climb the vine due to the way the game's made or some odd crap. Is there a fix for this or am I doomed?
I'm right here and I can't go up. (edited by Shyguy on 05-11-06 04:20 AM) |

Quoted from the guide for the game I got from GameFAQs:
"Well... the problem actually lies in how you get to the vine. When you load Wario Land 3 with an emulator (I don't condone piracy!), make sure you DON'T load a saved state (such as a No$GMB .sta file or a Smygb .mgb file or a Rew .st# file), which means DON'T go to the emulator's menu and choose load state or snapshot. Instead, just let the game get to the title screen, and from there, choose Continue. After that, just make your way to the Pool of Rain and you should be able to climb up the vine. This glitch may be present in other stages, but so far the only one I've confirmed is N1 Out of the Woods (you won't be able to climb a ladder inside the tree)." I ran into the same problem with the game a while back, and the above solution worked perfectly |

I did that. Still didn't work. I learned that using other emulators fixesthis problem though. I wonder what technicalities make this happen though... | |||

I'm sure I used VBA to play around with WL3 a while back and never came across that problem... might as well give that a try. |
