| Basicly what the name says I saw a flash movie/CG set for an anime-ish thing which looked cool. But I thought that was it just a CG set. Recently I found this screen-shot which seems to say that its a real anime. So has anyone heard of it. Or at least a name.

*the A-Drone does a back-flip in mid-air and pulls out his guns* Bass --- Oh Fuck- *he front-flips up into the air to dodge the blast and lands behind him* Bass --- Take THIS! *He grabs the drones neck with his left hand then punches its back. Then he pushes it foward also punching it foward right into Treble who then uses his claws to slash the drones head right off causinf the drone to fly into the far wall and exploade on contact* Bass --- *He claps his hands together two times* HA! Too easy. *He looks over his shoulder at Zero fighting the Q-Drone* HEY GIRLEY!!! YOU DONE YET!!! |

| My god Kaleb.G that has got to be one of the most intelligent posts I have seen in a long time on this borad. All I've seen recently is "This hack is great now where do I go now. Now excuse me while I blantently ignore the fact that the answers been given thousands of times beforehand".
Congradulations and I hpe you make it all the way through the game. Also Drewseph I was wondering about the hack. Is the reason that theres so little save-points in each level the cause of. A --- You wanted to make it just that hard. or B --- You can only put in so many savespots ans with the worlds being expanded so much it just seems like theres less. I was thinking B myself. Just a little curiosoty on my part. |

Axl --- Just finishing up! *he gets up* How bout' you Quickman... *he looks around* Quickman? *Quickman then jumps from the cieling landing behing the Z-Drone then grips his left arm over its chest and jams his right hand into the left side of its face and then using his speed just ripps its head right off its shoulders* Quickman --- Bah...Pathetic. These things are Much weaker than the originals. Zero --- I sure as hell hope so. I find it hard to belive that Bass has gotten That weak over the years. Axl --- Ummm hey guys did you notice something... Zero --- What? Axl --- None of their remains are where the fell like the A-Drone that Bass desroyed was originally over there and now its...over...there... Zero --- Oh my god... *All four of them look to the far sorner of the room where all of the drones bodys have convulged and joined together into a bulky humanoid shape with an oversized torzio and no head. Ultimately resembline what a child would make if he opened up all his jars of play-doh and mushed them all together* Quickman --- *his left eye twitches a little* Dat ain't right......That ain't right at all. Bass --- Oh what the hell why not. COME ON UGLY TAKE YOUR BEST SHOT!!! *The thing then held out its "arms" and pulled the A-Drones guns out of Zero's hands inbeding then its its palms* Bass --- Well.....Shit....Ah well fuck it. LETS GO BITCH!!! |

| Quickman --- Fools they can't hope to beat it without a plan...
*he then jumps up to the cieling and latches on* Quickman --- HA!! There!!! *He jumps down onto the beasts back and rips a large sheet of metal that had been molded together in a plate like fassion.* *Then he jumped off away from it and ripped the metal into 3 parts. The two smaller pars he bent into a slanted L shape and the larger one he bent to form a sword* *or in simpler terms he formed 2 Quick Boomerangs and a sword* Quickman --- HEY BLONDIE...CATCH!!! *he then threw the sword to Zero who had recently been thrown off the beasts arm and was laying on the ground* Quickman --- This guys toast! |

| *While Zero is flying toward the beast he pulls his sword back in an attack stance and then once he was within striking range he slashed the beash across the chest leaving a noticable wound*
Zero --- HA! Now-...uh-oh! *After the slash the beash used its left arm to grab onto Zero then throw him upwards. It then pulled its right arm back to punch him* Zero --- OH SHIT-urk *At the last second he was pulled away from the punch be Quickman who proceded to run across the beasts body while dragging Zero and jump off the other side of it* Quickman --- You shouldn't do something that reckless without a plan *he then puts Zero down* Fortunatly I have that plan. Zero --- *Sarcasticly* And that would be... Quickman --- Heh...More speed! *He then throws his "boomerangs" at the beasts arms temporarily immobilizing them* Zero --- WHAT!!! Quickman --- *He then throws Zero up in the air* AXL!!! BASS!!! hOLD ITS LEGS DOWN!!! DON'T LET IT GET AWAY!!! *He then jumps up and grabs Zero in mid-air and stars spinning and a super-sonic pace untill they just look like a red cyclone* *At the peak of their speed he then lets go of Zero launching him directly at the Beast* Zero --- AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| *They all enter into an extremly large room about the size of a gymnasium. Along the walls there seemed to be remnance of papers and some tubes and whatnot but they'd all been reletvely cleared away leaving nothing more than a large, empty grey room. Save for of corse Techno and four capsles to his left and right*
Bass --- Finally decied to fight! Huh you purple headed freak show!!! Techno --- ... Right this coming from someone with fins on his head... Bass --- WHY YOU!!! *he starts to run over to Techno but is blasted back by an invisible forcefield* Quickman --- Ummm... Bass?.....You ok? Bass --- 
Zero --- WHAT DID YOU DO TO X!!! Techno --- See for yourself... *his chair stars to lift up revealing a large transparent capsule with a large X on the top. Inside the capsule was X but different. He had different armor on. His helmet was reletively the same but the rest of his armor wasn't. He seemed to wear a thick black jumpsuit. Over that he had extra blue armor over his upper and lower torzo with an equally blue cod-piece covering his pelvis and what seemed to be a sleveless blue tanktop with a red X in the center. He also had blue gauntles and tall boots on thicker than the suit was but smaller than before. He had his eyes closed and was floating in the capsule* Axl --- Wha'd you do to him?!? He looks way different than before!!! Techno --- I just gave him the necisary upgrades to compleate the testing. Quickman --- And just what is this "testing" of yours anyway this whole lab is empty. Unless of corse all this time and effort went into those capsules over there. Techno --- And that is 100% correct! Axl --- So whats in em'. Techno --- I was getting to that kid. Now shut up. Techno --- Each capsule contains a phisical modol of each of X's strongest aspects.*He then motions his hands to the four capsules a green one, ared one, a blue one, and a purple one*. Speed, Streangth, Stratagy, and Stealth. With X as a modol I was able to perfect the modols. *At that point each of their respective armors slid up in glass cases from the ground* Techno --- And you failures with be the first test subject of my new gaurdians. Bass --- OW *he gets up* And if we refuse? Techno --- Heh...You say that like you have a choice in the matter. All exits have been sealed. The only chice you have is to fight them with or without armor. Bass --- ... Ass... *He walks over and starts putting on his armor* Axl --- Wait! It could be a trap! Bass --- *While puting on his armor* You fool. You heard him already. If he wanted us dead he would have done it a long time ago. Axl --- Oooookaaay....*He and the others follow suit* Techno --- Good... Now that you're all suited up. Lets see just how long you can last against the most powerful reploids in existanse! *First the green capsule opens revealing a reploid with a helmet design similar to X's exept it was Green and whil instead of Blue and light-blue. He also had green arrow like marks on either side of his face on each cheek. His armor was similar to X's new armor. He had a white, thick, jumpsuit on with a green cod-piece and green tank-topish armor on with a yellow X over it. He had green gauntlets with white gloves and yellow rings around the wrists. He had boots in a similar design to X's but they were tighter to the legs and went up halfway up his thigh. He also had large, green wing designs on his helmet and a white and green booster on his back. Finally attached to his waist were two white beam sabres.* *The second one opens from the red capsule with a red helmet on and a white outline around the edge. He also had what seemed almost like horns, but they were just yellow bladea sticking up from the front edge of his helmut. He had a white and red body suit on the red being on the left and right sideds of his body. He had a red codpiece similar to the rest yet at the same time instead of the "tank topish" armmor the others wore on their upper torzo he just had bulky red armor over his chest. Along with that armor he had bulky oversized shoulderblades each being almost the size of his head. He did however have the same style gauntlets as everyone else ecept his however were much bigger seeming to be just made for him to stay put unlike the rest whose were more suited for mobility. Yett the thing that stood out the most was the fact that held in his right hand also connected to his right arm was an overly large red and black gun which was almost half the size of him.* *The blue capsule opens revealing a female reploid inside. Her helmut vagly resembled X's of which hers was all blue save for fin designs on either side and a light blue desigh covering the front lip of her helmut. She also had what seemed to be jet thrusters coming out her back. She had almost the same armor design to X exept her armor was more skintight than his was. She had a white bodysuit on, ahe also sported the same style of armor as the rest as she had a blue codpiece and a blue tanktopish armor on with a yellow X over it. Unlike the rest she didn't have gauntles or boots...per-say. They were both blue and skin-tight much like her under-armor which they could of been confused with if not for the yellow rings seperating then from her under-armor. She did however seem to have high healed boots on instead of the mechanical war boots the others had. She also had in her right had she held a spear with a red and orange design down the pole and a large double-edged blade at the end.* *The purple and last capsule opened and revaled the final subject. His helmut was similar to X's exept he had blades that stuck out from eiter side of his helmet resembling a sort of mask. He had the same armor as everyone else ecept he had a white jumpsuit on and dark purple armor. His arms and legs were armorein a fassion similar to the first but the armor was curved more so to allow for more mobility. He finnaly had a large white matal ball attacjed to the right side of his waist with for slits around it.* Quickman --- What... Who are they? Techno --- *he holds out his arms* These! You pitiful fools are the most powerful Reploids in all of existance! And you four will be the first to die to their godly powers! Quickman --- *rolls eyes* Yeah right EVERYONE always says that their the best arond and then you know whay happens? THEY DIE!!! You can't possibly think that these rip offs can beat us?!? Can you!!! Techno --- *obviously pissed* WE'LL SEE ABOUT THAT!!! ACTIVATE MY GAURDIANS!!! ACTIVATE HARPUIA, FEFNIR, LEVIATHAN, AND PHANTOM!!! KILL THEM!!! *At that point all of the gaurdians open their eyes and grab theit weapons getting in a battle stance* |

Hmmm... Looks nice. This hack has nice promice. And we need more Zelda 3 hacers on this board anyways. I mean counting myself I think theres...6 in total? (correct me if I'm wrong  ). But yeah as long as you have the sheer stubborness to see the hack all the way through. This could be really good. Keep up the good work. |

Axl --- WHAT THE- *His Fefnir copy-armor disapeared off him in a puff of smoke* Phantom --- Pathetic display of illusinary tactics. Lets hope you fight better than you preform. *He then moves his right hand to grab the scabbard of his sword but as soon as he touched it he dissapeared* Axl --- What the- WOAH!!! *He then backflipped away just barely dodgeing getting slashed by Phantoms blade as he appeared right in front of him* Axl --- Not good. *He then quickly turns around and starts running in the opposite direction*
Phantom --- *hmph* *he then disapears again* Zero --- Well then. I'd say ninja boy would be stealth. So that leaves Speed, Power, and Stratagy. The question is who's who... Fefnir --- I can answer that! Zero --- What- AHHH!!! *He then got blasted by a gigantic fire-ball slaming him into the far wall* Fefnir --- I'M ALL POWER!!!AND IT WON'T MATTER WHO EVERYONE ELSE IS CAUSE YOU'LL BE TOO DEAD TO CARE!!! *He then widens his Torch-claw and jumps towards Zero with his arm raised meaning to slam his head into the ground* Zero --- Shit! *He then rolls out of the way at the last second to avoid being crushed as Fefnir slams his arm into the ground where Zero used to be resulting in most of the ground around it to break and be overturned* Zero --- *He gets up* (Of corse I had to be the one stuck with the phyco-path... Oh well.) *He then pulls out his Z-Sabre* BRING IT ON FIRE BOY!!! Harpuia --- *Arms crossed* So impatient...So reckless...Bah..*He looks at Quickman* So I take it you would be the one I'm more closely modeled after...Quickman is it? Quickman --- Yes thats right...So I take it you're the speed modol. So I take it you want to fight me right? Harpuia --- Anything slower would be a waste of time. Unfortunatly. *His jet-pack then activatedand he started hovering a few yards above the ground* I'm made for arial combat so a ground fighter such as yourself doesn't stand a chance. Quickman --- Accually...*His boosters on his back shifted down 90 degres and started up also boosters on his feet kicked on causing him to easily fly up to Harpuis eye level* Quickman --- *He pulls out two boomerangs* Those who underestimate their opponents are doomed to failure. Harpuia --- Interesting...*He activates his two beam sabres* In that case hold nothing back! Let this be a battle for the ages!!! Quickman --- Gladly. *They both dash backwards and up a bit then dash at each other and mad speeds with their weapons drawn* Bass --- So that just leaves you and me... Bah you don't look so tough. DIE!!! *He activated his blaster and fires five shots at her* Leviathan --- *She pulls out her spear and spins it in front of her deflecting all of the shots* Tee hee hee. Not even the type who listens to the advise of his own team-mates? "Those who underestimate their opponents are doomed to failure." Bass --- So...I never did like to listen to him. NOW DIE!!! *He fires a few more shots which are defected again* Leviathan --- *sigh* So impatent. I'm surprised Fefnir didn't go after you. But if you want a real fight- *A hole sprals open in the ground infront of them revealing water* Follow me. *She then hoped in making the smallest splash* Bass --- Bah. Cocky bitch. You'll pay for mocking me. *He then jumps in after her* |

| Well for about half a year now I've nearly finished changing all the overworld graphics in my Zelda 3 hack. All thats left are random seperate sets around Hyrule. As for now I just want to see what you think of my progress thus far. I just want to know what you think of how it looks or how my graphics changing has been going.
Hyrule Castle On a side note this is the original Hyrule Castle with my new Graphics placed in. Also the image is fairly large being that it is the entire Hyrule Castle section you could be in, in the original game. Also I know the trees next to the cliff by the water are unfinished. Thats becase they're not going to be used in my hack so I felt no need to finish them. |

Now if they we're just slightly similar I wouldn't be angry. Hell if the floor tiles we're different I wouldn't be angry. But aside from the bookcase and the fact that you messed with the door a bit more than me that looks almost EXACTLY like my old screenshot I posted around here back in my older thread. Link's House Original I think the only saving grace you have out of that is the fact that you admitted to stealing it rather than claiming it as your own. But seriously if you want to make something look that close to someone elses work at least ask their permission first. I'm sure any other Rom Hacker here would feel the same way I do if work they posted in a screen-shot that the posted on this site "somehow" worked its way into someone elses hack without their concent. |

(Mostly X-Ray scoping every wall around as well). Keep looking I may not remeber it exactly but I do know it was a pain. | Well I figured it was only a matter of time before new Super Metroid hackers started to bloom after the godly hack Drewseph did.
But back on topic on what to do in a Super Metroid hack... Hmmm... Personally the first thing I'd do is change the sprites around so they're better of different. An idea I have is maybe using the graphics from the Metroid Prme series as referense or something depending on how well a sprite artist you are. But something along of new sprites would be cool and something new in a Super Metroid hack. Drewseph didn't leave much room for anything he didn't do but the only things I can think of are new sprites, tile sets, and music. Changing the music seems somewhat piontless half because its good already and also because I don't even think you can with the current editors out there but as far as new sprites and tilesets are conserened that would be something to really make a new hack look nice. Just a little idea to throw out there but after what Drewseph pulled off I'm going to love how this new hacking community grows. |

| Yes this forum should be aprove only now if not sooner. This is a Rom hacking forum NOT a "Teach noobs how to hack" forum. If you don't know how to do something you damn well better have checked Google, numorous rom hacking sites, and (hey heres a thought) HERE! And if you still somehow don't know send a PM or something or post it in the right thread don't make a new one. The shear amount of stupidity around here has become sickening. Perfect example - I've stopped reading the thred focusing on Drewsephs superb Super Metroid hack not bcause I was bored but because the only things talked about have been answered numerous times in the entire thread. Hell ignoring that there are walkthroughs and a 100% downloadable movie of the hack on the internet and people are STILL asking the same questions today. On another note if I'm not mistaken a few highly inteligent people have left the board or at least stopped posting information that they've gained from gross amounts of stupidity in their threads.
On another note if anything marking this forum aprove only will stop these rediculous posts of "Hey how come the new *insert rom hack project here* isn't finished yet he said that it would be done by now why isn't it?" which translates into "Hey! Get off your lazy ass and gimmie more stuff for free!". I swear people that post those things should be banned on sight! I reletively keep most info on my rom hack under wraps and only put it here when I want to know how it can be made better but I can hardly inaine how the group thats working on the now Lttp hack (forgot its name) must feel with people like that demanding tham to work on it. Personally I know we cannot no matter what we do stop stupidity on ths entire site. But if more and more threads become Aprove only we can slow it down enough so we can keep it away enough so this community can grow and flourish like it should without blantently stupid idiots weighing us down. |
