wow Ziff.... I didn't know you felt like that about Randy
what Ziff said would work just fine.... just try not to sound too rehearsed.... I think it would be better if it was more natural and your nervousness was obvious.. and do it sooner than later.... so that no one else asks her first... and so that if she does say no you can potentially ask someone else.... |

I'll jump in here only to point out that it is the Jehovah Witness religion that is against transfutions not mormons.

they were also told to be fruitful and multiply even before the forbidden fruit was eaten.... so it was even before they had sinned that sex was encouraged...
my question is this.... why are no children mentioned until after the expulsion from the Garden? did they not know how to have children.... or were they not able to? |

if sex/gender didn't exist then how could there be a man and a woman? I mean, there would just be 2 people in the garden.... not a man and a woman.... (edited by geeogree on 06-12-06 12:31 AM) |

it's definitely not over .... I'd love to see it go to 7 regardless of who wins... it's finally turning into a really exciting series.
And the fact that it's going back to Edmonton should help push it to 7. You can never count a team out.... no matter how bad it may have looked at the start of this series. |

well, it's not even as much religious conspiracy as it is Catholic Church conspiracy.
You don't hear spooky tales about the Baptists do you |

thoughts? feelings?
are they justified in doing this over one soldier? or should we condemn them for trying to protect themselves when they are totally surrounded by enemies? |

go Israel.... kick some terrorist arab ass!!!!
I'm glad they are finally just standing up for themselves and not waiting for world approval before getting something done. I've heard Iran is threatening to attack Israel soon. Oh, and Saudi Arabia is actually condemning the terrorist groups that have been attacking Israel.... we'll have to wait until tomorrow to see what happens next!!!! |

the reason that airport was bombed was to help prevent the captured soldiers from being moved to Tehran from Beirut.
yeah, maybe if the only incident had been 3 captured soldiers then this reaction would be unjustified, but this is not the first time Israel has been attacked by Hamas or Hezbolla (not 100% sure about the spellings on those) oh and Ziff.... a war in defense and protection of your own people is a war that I as a Christian can support. Once those soldiers are returned I expect a peaceful resolution to come of things, but until then I support Israel's moves and hope that the terrorists that kidnapped the soldiers come to their senses and hand over the soldiers before more people have to die |

so what would you suggest Ziff? Appeasement? we all know how well that works with radical groups bent on genocide

Ziff: if it were single digit Canadians that died everyday would your response be different?
or Americans, or anyone else but Israel? |

not so much accusing, as suspecting.
It just seems like if it were a different country then the responses in this thread might be a little different too. |

worth it?
if your country had soldiers kidnapped what would it do? go kick some ass and get them back. Israel is defending itself and probably trying to wipe Hezbollah off the map in the process. Israel has the right to be doing what it is doing. Armed militants in the south of Lebanon declared war when those soldiers were kidnapped. If the war is to end, those soldiers have to be returned and Hezbollah needs to disband. Otherwise Israel will continue to attack until to reaches those same goals it's way resulting in more death but eventual victory for Israel. |

Except quite often those "freedom fighters" are fighting to set up/restore their dictatorial position in the country/region.

this is not the first thing that Hamas or Hezbollah has done to Israel.
Think about the analogy of the straw that broke the camel's back. When you look only at the straw, the reaction of the camel seems silly, since only a single straw was added and it broke the camel's back. However, when looking at the entire bundle of straw on the camel, the reaction is justified. |

emcee: well, what they say and what they actually believe are probably 2 different things.
They are probably using the illegal immigration issue as the front to attempt a stop of "non-white" immigrants from entering the country. and wow, I must say I agree with Ziff on this one (this doesn't happen often ). Most groups mingle ideas that many people agree with in order to get people to listen, and then they use the mild issue to preach their extremist doctrines. |
