I'm wopndering about making sims and ethics...

Now we know that by acquiring a simfile you're also getting (in most cases edited) version of the Mp3. Is there some sort of unwritten rule that you shouldn't make an Mp3 of a chart song, because I;'ve heard a few and think I could make some pretty decent steps for it... would this be frowned upon though?

As for me, well to be honest I've not had much chance to entertain any idea of fetishes, I tend to like the more loving parts of a relationship, with lust being a bonus. BDSM seems a bit extreme to me, I had an ex who was really into it and I didn't get it at all ("What, you want me to physically HURT you?!"). The furthest we got was gentle bondage (as in bed sheets - it's handy being an ex boy scout ), but that was for her benefit . It's weird, I'm not exactly the most prudish of blokes, but this thread is making me seem like it.
As for things I find attractive in the opposite sex? Well personality wise, I love what you'd probably dub "nerdy" women, although they don't have to conform to the stereotype, as long as they're reasonably intelligent. Someone with a good sense of humour is essential, it's one of the few qualities I possess. Looks? I like curves on a woman *blushes* not stick thin individuals, as they look to frail and I think I'll crush them like a twig if I snuggle them (and I really like cuddles). So yes, curvy, intelligent women who know how to have a laugh - They do exist but all are taken it seems *sighs*.

Still here, I unstickied the thread as it was entirely redundant, Grey's had more posts in this than all my previous "Ask Elmo" threads combined so the fair people of Acmlms voted with their mouse so to speak. They couldn't be bothered if my thread was there or not, so I went with the popular decision. |

Anya - Next time you chat to Sofie, tell her I said hi. Don't feel bad about the thread, I was feeling alienated around here before it came along anyway, and besides, if people would rather get their advice from someone else, does it matter? They're getting advice aren't they!

If I'm apparently so good at advice, why am I ignored by the board at large eh? Exactly. The new thread title hasn't worked any either. Ah well. NE ways I digress. Back in the mists olf time after I first registered. Anya and Femine's corner was where all the women of the board hung out, they kept asking Anya for advice but had no male point of view on things. As I have experience in dispensing advice I offered my services, and for some strange reason (probably because I wasn't trying to hit on everyone....much) she said yes. I've just ressurected the thread in each incarnation of the board. |

As for your question - It's human nature to yearn for what's unattainabl, perhaps it's our own way of creating excitement, or giving us something to live for? Iori - In cases such as these the best thing is to take your time and never rush things. This girl does seem willing to give things a second chance, but wants to take it slowly, so the best thing would be to follow suit. There's also the fact, and I'm speaking from experience here, tht she might not understand how such a traumatic experience can have affected your friend and why he broke up with her, after all, she might have reasoned, the best thing is to bring your loved ones CLOSER. In the event though, this is rarely the case, so I sympathise with your friend here. But basically, yes, take it slowly, reforge those friendships, and never rush things.
