I think the BG is being used for layer 2... *sees the tip os a grey pipe in the water*

You could always use layer 3 water in that part so you can have a BG... or you could make the BG black and say 'lights out!'

hmm...

Now that one person tested this out of the blue method, I'm sure almost everyone wants to make a similer game...

...And then someone will use ASM skills to actually MAKE DK, and *insert dejavu scene here*

Also, these mini levels would be fun to make...

...I sugest open roof and walls... but, Its up to you.

Holy Bajebus! If ANYONE thinks they can do better sprites, I doubt it.

Word of warning Ice: If noobs or not-so-nooby people with no life want your sprites, say no. They are yours, and should always be yours.

I can't wait to see what you'll do with the FG/BG (if you edit them).

What about a block tool block that increases your 'number of exits' count by one, delete itself from the game, and return ytou to the OW? In this way you can have the multiple stars in one level... And the one star you need 100 coins for can be wherever you started the level, waiting for its money.

ofcourse, this does pose a problem with the game having to figure out wich stars it has deleted and witch ones it hasn't...

OH! i know!

With some asm, make the level change its levelnumber to +1 every time you beat it. when you beat it the final time, the level tile can turn a different color signaling you have all the stars. (so you can do the 'missions' in order from 1 to 6, then the 100coin star last)

Also, the 3d terrain wouldn't really be THAT much of a problem *coughBGcough*

You can also use the ledges to cheat mountains =p

heres a nice little tip. When editing your 'land masses' set all of the ground to the blank green at 1st. when your done said land mass, randomly place the littl green /'s, dirt clods, mini-hills, and other stuff all over the place. It may sound messy, but it works wonders.

...The pallete differences are ment to be like that. All weirded up because Nintendo still could hardly hold up a raddle. Don't go berserk because the OW palletes differ from the level palletes. just toy around with them as much as you want to see which one's which and then click 'discard rgb changes'
