I am at a loss as to how XK got 80 some lines in Death mode.

Do you use a rapid-fire controller program? Am I missing something here?

Squash Monster, not content to be killed, kicked Clockworkz in the face before he could pull the trigger.

However, realizing that Clockworkz had other, more deserving targets in mind, Squash Monster picked up Clockworkz's gun and proceeded to riddle everyone who couldn't spell "bat" with bullets.

(No, seriously. Whiskey tango foxtrot, people?)

98% of all games made with RPG maker.
95% of all games made with game makers that are too complicated to be used by complete llamatards.
99% of all games made with all other game makers.

Just thought someone had to mention those.

Of the list, I've read I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, The Adventures of Huckleberry Fin, Harry Potter (Series), The Catcher in the Rye, The Giver, A Day No Pigs Would Die, A Wrinkle In Time, Flowers for Algernon, James and the Giant Peach, The Anarchist Cookbook, Lord of the Flies, Native Son, and Where's Waldo, for a total of 13.

That list may well become my new "to-read" list.

Well, after I finish The Book of Five Rings and everything by Pratchett.

But I have a suggestion! So let's all pretend we're on a timezone that lets April Fool's keep going, 'kay?

Very well done.

Though I must say it is a bit of a dissapointment -- if I was going to trust all of my personal information to a website in a vain attempt at finding love, I would most certainly want that website to be Google.

I mean, damn man. They already have all of everyone's information already anyway. They might as well just pair everyone up and send a gmail to our soulmate on our behalf.

I play too. As Alastor aught to already know, what with me being in his clan and all.

Good good stuff though. The game has more strategy to it than most MMORPGs, and the economy actually works. Plus it's absolutely hilarious, of course.

Just go play the silly thing.

Why not? There's a crapload of players, it's online, it's an RPG.

Just because you don't see eachother running around doesn't mean it's not an MMORPG. Hell, I think it's part of what makes it better.

Well, I think you might want to get that looked into. I mean, it would appear that your hand is on fire. That can't possibly be good for you.

(More seriously, it looks pretty good *nodnod*)

On a random note: do you think the petrified time item market is going to keep going up very fast? I'm wondering when to sell my pants. They're currently going for 2.5 mil, which is 5 times as much as I've ever seen, but I dunno if I should hold out, as I don't imagine the prices going down.

The GameMaker language is actually pretty constricting. Last I checked, you don't have proper object support or even proper functions.

It's a lot of fun to play with, and might be reasonable for cranking out prototypes, but you really do lose a lot by not taking the leap into a decent language (I'll suggest Java).

Basically, with GML, you gain built-in sprite, collision detection, tilemap, and game-object support at the expense of functions, objects, and bunches of other really powerful programming tools.

St. Sneaky Pete's day gives you the ability to take extra drunkenness, as well.

I think. The Feast Of Boris does that with food, I'd assume Sneaky Pete's would with drunkenness.

But then, I haven't had food or drink in forever (HCO all the way, yo!), so what do I know?

In the first second of my omnipotence, I would teach everyone the value of peace and harmony, and make everyone realize that the world would be a better place if we just tried to get along and try to be nice to one another.

In the second second of my omnipotence, I'd give everyone a popsicle, except for the people who don't like popsicles, who'd get suitable replacements. And whoever ate these popsicles and popsicle replacements would inexplicably and suddenly know how to dance.

And then I'd take the rest of the day off to spend with this girl I know. And do certain things in ways you can only do if you're omnipotent for a day.

When the sun was about to set, I'd send everyone on the planet to a good vantage point and blow it up. Which wouldn't get anyone hurt because I'm omnipotent, yo. Then I'd replace the sun with a gigantic disco-ball that inexplicably provided enough light and sunny goodness for all the plants and everything while leaving the planet in a permanent state of funky twilight. And everyone would dance.

Then I'd point out to whatever authority there was that my day of omnipotence isn't over until the day is over, that the day can't be over until the sun sets, and that the sun obviously isn't in any condition to do that anymore.

Yes. Especially considering that it'd involve the board being up for another five years.

If you really want to change your appearance in two days, do pushups (while counting) until it feels like your arms are about to fall off. Remember that a good pushup means your hands are directly below your chest. Once it feels like your arms are about to fall off (note! This is a good deal after the point where they start randomly giving out!). Then do however many you counted again.

Then don't do anything with your arm and chest muscles tomorrow, and eat something nice and proteiny like chicken or sunflower seeds.

If you get that all right, you should feel crazy sore sometime late tomorrow, and have bigger pectoral muscles the next day (by a margin determined entirely by whether or not you took me seriously with the number of pushups beyond what makes sense to do). If you're lucky, they'll fill out your chest enough to hide the fact that you have the chest of a 13 year old girl. Why've you been staring at 13 year old girl chests, anyway?.

You get 80 when you start out as a noob and when you ascend. There are some things that'll let you get more adventures, look into making a meat maid or someatt. I recall Pointy Mushroom Soup being my cheif source of sustenence as a noob. Your mileage may vary. Life's easier if you ascend hardcore oxy and just don't have to eat .

On the bright side, your adventures carry over from day to day, so if you're out for a while, you'll have more than 40 waiting for you. You're capped at 200 at roll-over, though. (You can have more than 200, but once rollover hits, you'll have 200 again, so use them up).

I was a Disco Bandit. I started eating those soups when I was high enough in level to buy things. Buggered if I know what to do before you hit that level -- my best bet at the time was mad train wine. When I was playing, the individual soups were going at a good rate, while their components weren't that expensive. I usually made a few and sold them at a smallish proffit, and ate some more for my own benefit. There are other mushroom specials that make more sense depending on what class you are.

Particularilly -- cream of pointy mushroom soup (cook together pointy mushroom and goat's milk) for moxie classes, cool mushroom casserole (cook together cool mushroom and gnollish casserole dish) for mysticality classes, and spicy mushroom quesadilla (cook together warm mushroom and flat dough (which can be made by using dough)) for muscle classes.

Oh, and that was spoilers, by the way.
