Picture quality. Generally cheaper things use cheaper components, which can mean more signal loss, which means you lose some of the high-def sheen.
However, it rocks to see in such high quality, Ganondorf's chin looks pixellated. |

Microsoft designed their software to make people constantly click things. Often, one could find out new and important things by double-clicking everything, as it was made so that a wrong click wouldn't kill your computer.
For that reason, idiots, slaves, and curious people have clicked the beam of death, some of whom may have been skeptical of its function until it banned them. |

Heh, I don't need to get myself banned to look intelligent, thank you very much Blacklord's PM.
I think it altogether more fitting to act like absolutely nothing has changed. |

Hey. Well, I have myself a bit of a horribly annoying problem, mostly to do with trying to get my newly installed Radeon 7000 to work. I've managed only to nearly destroy my X server at least three times and wasted countless time by myself. I'm a tinkerer, but this stuff gets scary when I start messing with it.
I want to make it so that both my Radeon and my motherboard integrated video run simultaneously, allowing me to use one monitor and just moving the cable between them. (I have many monitors, but no interest in the possibility of not just one, but two, or even three at once) however, a mountain of settings in the file combined with the Russian Roullette aspect of it means that I need help from someone who's done this before. Attached is my current configuration. Go ahead and tell me what needs to be added, if you can do anything 'bout it. |

Well, the thing is, I don't really need both to work at once. The problem is, I can't seem to disable the onboard video (no jumpers/CMOS options/anything) in order to use a vanilla PCI video card. Now, normally, people would buy PCI-E cards, which, once inserted, probably would trigger it to switch. However I have an old card which is slightly better than nothing (I.E. onboard video) and want it to work.
Is there any 'safe' or effective utility which could override my current settings and make it initialize that card instead of the onboard one? *Smacks his Gigabyte GA-81945G Pro for not having anything in its documentation 'bout this* I'd just disable the onboard one in hardware and have Linux figure out how to get this card working with its relatively functional auto-detect, however I can't seem to figure out how to disable the onboard one. Thanks for the reply, anyway. Oh! Right. This motherboard is doing the opposite of what you said--it's sorta blocking me from using my new card over its own integrated one. So that isn't my problem--if I could get Linux to init the PCI card, I wouldn't even need the other one anyway. |

I was a second Alternate on the 'Battle of the Child Geniuses 2' show that once aired on CBS. Had two people gotten sick or died, I'd have been on TV!
|
Also, I met Dick Clark in person. And I got a digital camera from him. And I saw Jay Leno in person.

Almost all of it looks good to me, though merging the Officer's club with that other forum means either underage people going there to complain (*Shudder*) or complaining elsewhere.
|
But since I don't do much complaining anyway, it all looks good to me. IMO, the arena is dead without a tournament, since otherwise it's relatively hard to keep things together.

Up until Xkeeper rebuilt the board, it appeared to be a possible replacement for this one. However Xkeeper has done so much work here that it doesn't seem to me like it'll be used here anytime soon. |

I could change mine to Xalron, but then again, I can't change my nickname here, can I?

I still think the Sim Battle forum is rather dead-ish, giving it back its own thing would probably not get too many posts. In my opinion. |

Dimension #88 is just like this one, but for some reason everyone in it acts like Xkeeper. It's nuts. |

I would steal a spaceship, take all the supplies I could, and fly to Mars.
|
Heh. Silly people killing eachother on Earth would envy me as I ruled over my spaceship on Mars for as long as the life support lasted.

Does it frighten you how often you encounter me on other sites you go to?

Eh, that sounds like the enamel thing rather than sensitivity. I use an overpowered plug-in Oral B DEATHRAY SUPER OMEGA toothbrush to clean my teeth, and never have had any cavities. My teeth are blindingly white, too... without those dang $40 strips. However, it hurts my gums.
|
From my experience, 'normal' sensitivity involves biting into popsicles with your front teeth and... well. Hot things almost never bother my teeth, unless they're hot enough to instantly burn up my mouth. So I've never had what you do... usually I eat things that are hotter than the hubs of hell without a problem.
