Tell me about that, one of my aunts always types LIKE THIS EVEN THOUGH SHE DOESN'T MEAN TO BE YELLING OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. Sooooo annoying to me but it's not like I'll say anything about it to her.

Oh it's even worse on the women's side since there's a huge skill gap between Canada and countries like Russia/Germany who aren't bad in men's hockey... so imagine the gap between them and Italy. :\

I thought we'd settle at 12 or 13 to be honest.

Those would be some FANCY pancakes.

I'd say an omelette but those are cooked in pans, not in the oven... maybe some form of quiche? Was it served in slices?

Freestyle Skiing - Women's Moguls.

neo: The host country's guaranteed a spot in every sport, yes. They're encouraged to have a representative... at least in men's hockey they're in Division I (right below the World Championships) while the women are in Division II or III. Curling's a laugh because this is Italy's first time curling.

SomerZ: I know. That's why most of that stuff's relegated to a secondary channel here... Beckie Scott couldn't win gold. But she finished 6th which isn't bad.

You'll get (Sweden) next to your name when you finish in the top 3 so hush.

neo: I did the same thing in 2004 I think.

I'm guessing quiche then. Certainly not my favorite food but it's about as versatile as an omelette, so...

Ugnspannkaka translated is likely closer to omelette than pancake now that I think of it.

My take would be that a box of condoms is going to last someone a while, if you're only doing it one/two times a week. So if you don't even want to put down the money on THAT...

Anya: Start using them.

Canada hammers Russia 12-0 in women's hockey to pretty much secure home ice for the final against the US, which is what should happen. (If it's Canada/US, goals scored come into play to determine who the home team is, and we're ahead in that department 28-11 I think.) We'll probably be more controlled against Sweden in our final game since we only scored so many goals to grab home ice; our players have gone on record as saying they don't like running up the score since they're getting some heat here for that.

Canada's up to 2 medals thanks to Cindy Klassen's bronze in women's speed skating (3000m).

Yes, you've managed to successfully beat the odds for 7 years. That's VERY impressive.

I'd just get the box out of the way so that you can say you used them.

All this hype made me obtain Lego Star Wars for the PC today.

Oh geez... it's good. Not awesome or anything like that but pretty neat; and I can tell that it'll take a bit of work to max everything out in each level.

It's a smart marketing move but probably the wrong one unless you really do need huge specs to play Halo 2 on the PC. A lot of PC owners could probably run Halo 1 but can't run Windows Vista, so...

I wouldn't bet against you on that one, Ashley. :\ Sounds about right.

So what did everyone do today on this slow Sunday? I played Lego Star Wars and watched the Olympics, which is extremely productive.
